Lovely gardens with a variety of fruit trees. Equipment includes 32inch wide screen TV, video, stereo with CD and cassette players, cable TV, children’s entertainment centre with DVD and Playstation, Air Conditioning (optional extra) and a 400 litre solar heated water tank - no more cold spanish showers! Less than 5 minutes drive to 3 championship 18 hole golf courses- Villamartin, Real Campoamor and Las Ramblas and only 30 minutes drive from The La Manga Club - A Golfers Dream. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and bars. Supermarkets: small one - 5 mins walk, Large one 5 mins drive. Nearest Beach about 8 minutes drive with a whole selection of blue flag beaches within 20 minutes drive. 45 minutes drive from Alicante Airport and 20 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier). N.B. From 2007 Beach Towels will also be provided to save having to pack those bulky items.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Square at Villamartin with banks, shops, bars, restaurants, supermarket, medical centre (with English speaking doctor) and pharmacy among other shops is about 5 minutes drive (20 minutes walk) from the house. Torrevieja with its sea front promenade, restaurants and nightly market is 15 to 25 minutes drive depending on the time of year. Cabo Roig - a little over 10 mins drive to a wide selection of restaurants.
Villamartin / Colinas del Presidente area
Beaches Nearest beach is at Le Zenia and is less then 10 minutes drive, Cabo Roig (slightly over 10 minutes) offers another 3 or 4 beaches and of course Guardamar beach starts about 20 minutes away and continues for 20 miles or so. Lots of lovely beaches with restaurants on the edge of the beach for refreshments, lunch etc.... Golf Villa Moraira is situated less then 5 minutes drive from the first tee of all three local championship courses: Villamartin - 18 Hole ....6706yd Par 72 Real Campoamor - 18 Hole .......6784yd Par 72 Las Ramblas - 18 Hole .......6310yd Par 72 Many Other courses in the general area, La Finca, Rojales, Quesada, Bonalba, Mosa Trajectum and of course only 30 minutes drive to The La Manga Club - soon to be host to the Ryder Cup. Villa Moraira has a secure garage that golf equipment can be stored in.
Local supermarket within 5 minute walk. Consum supermarket (bigger then the supermarket at The Square) is about 8 minutes drive near Le Zenia. The Carrefour Hypermarket (it stocks absolutely everything and was the main option prior to the arrival of the Consum) is 15-20 minutes drive. Watch out you don't get tempted by the cement mixers on special offer at the check outs!!! Lots of other activities in the Area - within 15 to 20 mins north or south: Sailing, Scuba Diving, Water Skiing, Tennis, Sea Fishing, Cycling, Horse Riding, Go-Karting, Jet Skiing, Banana Boat Riding, Bird Watching, Aqua Parks and theme parks.
How to get there
Fly to either Alicante or Murcia Airports. FROM ALICANTE: 35 mins drive on the motorway, 45 mins on the N332 - South bound. FROM MURCIA: 20 mins drive on the motorway, 25 mins on the N332 - North bound.

Further details indoors: There is a child gate that can be placed at the top of the steps from the covered terrace to the pool so blocking unrestricted access for children. Massive terrace around the pool with sun beds for the sun worshippers, bar-be-que for the chef(s!) and a cooling shower (please remember to wash off the sun cream before flopping on the sofa's inside!). The baby pool is great for the children and you never know what pool toys have been left behind by other guests who didn't want to bother taking them home. A word of caution - the main part of the pool is quite deep and the deep end is DEEP - about 2.5M Air conditioning for the living room and the master bedroom is available from the property manager locally for €130 per week -payable either locally or when booking.
Further details outdoors: There are two terraces - one covered so you can enjoy the heat without the sun exposure and one open around the pool. The covered terrace is where most of life takes place - morning, noon and night. Lovely to relax on with a few candles and a nice glass of wine. Sun loungers and parasol are provided on the pool terrace. The pool cover is a solar magnifier and heats the pool - makes swimming verrrry comfortable. The cover will be locked open during summer months as it would boil the pool if left closed.
You are within easy striking distance of lots of fantastic restaurants and interesting and fun places - There is a drawer full of brochures in the side board for things to do or you could just drive to the Mar Menor to watch (and maybe join) the people covering themselves in the mineral rich (supposedly healing) mud, visit the University town of Murcia, go to the Terra Mitica theme park near Benidorm (about 1.5 to 2 hours drive) or maybe just drive into Torrevieja for dinner.

Please enquire with the owner regarding availability - we will try to keep the calendar updated! 25% booking deposit to be paid within 10 days of booking -Bank Transfer, Credit Card (+ 5% handling charge), Cash or Euro Bank Draft. Remainder to be paid along with (£300) refundable security deposit 8 weeks prior to travelling.
