About the home
This is our home from home, we are close to both airports, Murcia and Alicante. Pick up your car from the airport and within the hour you can be drinking a nice cool beer relaxing on one of the terraces, you have three to choose from.
The Villa is completely kitted out; we like to think we have thought of every thing, let us know if you think differently. Our management company will be on hand and should you need it we can arrange transfers to and from the airports. The Villa is less then a 10 minute walk to many restaurants, the bank and the local supermarket. There is a regular bus service to the beach should you need one.
The nearest beach is La Zenia it's less then 10 minutes by car. You do not have to go far to explore the beauty of Spain, Villamartin is just off the coastal road, there are many beaches, where you will find lots of different activities as well as restaurants. The Villa truly makes a great family holiday but is equally ideal for those romantics out there.

The accommodation is spacious and tastefully furnished. There is a large outside terrace to the front of the property, with table and chairs. The front door opens up into the large lounge, with two big leather sofas, and dining area. The lounge has an air conditioning unit fitted. English Satellite TV is installed, so you won't miss your favourite programmes. The kitchen is very well equipped with a built in oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and ample crockery/cutlery, etc.
There is one downstairs bedroom to the front of the property, and a large shower room with toilet. On the first floor, there are two further bedrooms, plus a full size family bathroom. A door on the landing leads out onto the first roof terrace. Upstairs again, you will find a further roof top solarium.

Lets of more or less than 7 or 14 days are fine (although we do ask for a minimum let of 3 days) and these will be priced on a pro-rata basis.
Payments can be made by cheque, or directly into our bank account, details of which will be supplied once the booking is made.
We are flexible on changeover days, ie, bookings do not have to be from Saturday to Saturday.
Normal check out is by 10:00 am and arrival after 16:00 pm, although other times can be arranged depending on availability of the accommodation prior to your arrival and after your departure. Again, please ask.
Conditions
PLEASE NOTE - for the comfort of other guests, smoking is not permitted inside the property.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required to secure booking, with the balance being due 6 weeks prior to departure.
On arrival, a payment of 160 Euros is to be made to our contact. 100 Euros is a key/security payment and is refunded in full when the keys are returned and subject to there being no damage reported. 60 Euros is to cover the cost of the cleaning prior to your arrival and after your departure.
Maximum occupancy for this property is 6 people.
Our Keyholder is only a few steps away from the Villa, they are always on hand should you need any assistance.
We can also arrange transfers to and from the airport and trips through out your stay. You can explore the area by taking the local bus, the bus runs every hour from the Plaza.
Welcome packs can be provided - Just let us know what you want and the items will be at the villa.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Villamartin is situated approximately 40 minutes drive south from Alicante, or 20 minutes north from Murcia, and many of the low cost airlines have regular flights into both airports.
The property is ideally placed to cater for golfers, having easy access not only to the course at Villamartin, but also to Las Ramblas and Campamor. Further afield, La Marquesa & La Finca courses are only approximately 15 minutes away, and the famous course at La Manga is approximately a 40 minute drive south.
The golden sandy beach at La Zenia is only a 5 minute drive.
The Villamartin area
The Villamartin Plaza is situated less than 10 minutes walk away, and offers a varied selection of bars and restaurants offering a wide range of international cuisine. You're sure to find something to suit all tastes!
The Los Dolses & Rioja centres are also within a 10 minute walk, with more shops and bars, and the large Commercial Centre at Playa Flamenca is within a 5 minute drive.
The nearest supermarket is nearby at Villamartin Plaza. The nearest large supermarket is Mercadona, is just a 5 minute drive. The nearest Spanish market is now held each Saturday on Playa Flamenca (close to Mercadona) offering many bargains. There are also large markets held in Torrevieja on Friday, Playa Flamenca on Saturday, San Pedro on Monday and Guardamar on Wednesday.
The town of Torrevieja is close by and here you can find an evening 'Craft market' on the sea front as well as many restaurants and bars. You can walk along the Promenade and stop off to enjoy a drink or meal at one of the many restaurants on offer.
There are many beaches near the accommodation, the nearest being La Zenia, approx 5 minutes drive away. All the beaches in the area are Blue Flag beaches, and the majority offer water sports and beach bars. Alternatively, there are some quieter coves if you want to get away from it all.

Located 40 minutes from Alicante airport and 20 minutes from Murcia airport on the Costa Blanca near Torrevieja. Its a straight run on the AP7, you come off at La Zenia, which is less then 10 minutes from the Villa. The Villa is in Villamartin. There are plenty of Car Hire companies at the airports, we always book before hand. There is a large choice of Airlines, to name a few Ryanair, Easyjet, BMI, Thompson, Flybe etc.

We had a great holiday with our 3 year old in 2008. This time we came back with her and a 1 year old baby. It was truly a home from home. Very comfortable and very relaxing from the minute we arrived. The villa was very well stocked with good quality essentials that makes self catering much easier. Everything was conveniently located in the town, and only a short drive to the beach. It was a bonus being able to sunbathe and relax in the outside spaces whilst our daughters played safely nearby. The pool was a perfect diversion, and was great with both a shallow and deep area. We will all definitely go back again! |

We have been going to this property for the last 5yrs we like it so much we go at least 3 times a year and the owner is very helpful. We are there so many times we feel like one of the locals and we don't even consider going anywhere else now. |

We stayed at this villa in July and had a fantastic holiday. The villa itself was spacious and homely and location was great. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and communal pool was lovely. We really felt at home there and our 2 year old daughter loved it. It is well equipped for families and has everything you would possibly need and want. We are just deciding what month to go back next year and we are sure we will be making regular visits in the coming years. Thank you so much Barbie for making it a holiday to remember. “We all really enjoyed our holiday. The villa is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. Having the 2 bathrooms was a bonus (the shower is huge) and we thought the kitchen was really well stocked with crockery etc plus having the toaster was really good. You said it was a home from home and it was. Having the front garden, the balcony and the roof terrace meant if we were all in the villa at once we could still have our individual space to sunbathe and read/listen to music. So we could all be together and apart at the same time. "I think we all loved the roof terrace the best! When you were up there it was so quiet and relaxing. We had a really great time and it was nice that everything you had told us about the villa and the area was true.”

It was great to have a choice of the pool or many good beaches close by. The children especially enjoyed the water park which was only 20 minutes away and reasonably priced due to the fact they charged for the first day and you could get in the next day for free. “Ideal family holiday destination. We were met at the property by the owners who gave us a comprehensive 'low down' on the villa and surrounding area which was extremely helpful. This was our first experience of having a villa holiday and it was excellent value for money. The villa was well equipped and was spacious. the choice of where to catch the sun or to eat your meals was spread over 3 floors, which gave choice, privacy and room for the family to all eat together. It was well equipped for the children with iPod docking station, DVD, sky etc. Decorated to a high standard and in excellent condition. The local area was a 10 minute stroll with plenty of choice of bars and restaurants. the pool is much bigger than it appears in the pics and was never crowded and was spotlessly clean. On site you are supported by Brian who lives 30meters away and is extremely helpful (thanks Brian). We are already checking our calendar for when we can go again.
