Home description
The apartment is new and fully furnished. It is situated on the top floor with a large balcony and with a solarium available on the roof. The lounge/ diner has a three piece suite, sideboard, dining table to seat four and a TV with DVD and hi-fi. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you may need for a self catering holiday. The spacious family bathroom has a bidet and bath with overhead shower. The house is kept spotlessly clean. With more than 300 days of sunshine per year, with an average annual temperaturesof 20°C-22°Cand its proximity to the magnificent blue flag beaches of “La Zenia” “Cabo Roig” “Mil Palmeras” and “Torre Horadada” this is the ideal place for family holidays. For night life ,Villamartin Plaza, a galleried square with palm trees and fountains,surrounded by bars and restaurants, offers the holidaymaker a choice of cuisine and entertainment from around the world.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Beaches: Playa La Zenia is the beach to the right of La Zenia hotel. There is a bar right on the beach and plenty of space for ball games. There is also a big restaurant with a magnificent sea view. There is a lovely bay to the left of La Zenia hotel. It is a beautiful beach with soft sand and calm waters, protected by a high cliff. There is a cafe at the top and a children's playground. Playa Flamenca is the next beach up north from La Zenia. There are interesting small cliffs and small isolated creeks. It is more open, with fine sand and has a children's play area. Playa Cabo Roig is the next beach down south from La Zenia. This beach has fine golden sand and is sheltered by a cape. There is a yacht port on its northern extreme. The beach is suitable for water sports. The restaurant at the top offers a private garden overlooking the sea. Things to do - for adults and children: Torrevieja is an ancient sea port and there are many historic sites. Every evening in the summer months a craft market is held close to the port. There is also a big fairground. There is a cinema and bowling complex and go-carts in the southern part of Torrevieja. The water park in Torrevieja "aquopolis" offers fun activities for the whole family to enjoy: river rapids, kamikaze slides, wave machine. There are many local fiestas: the feast of the Three Wise Men on 5th of January, carnivals in February, the Holy Week processions in April, the May Fair, the feast of San Juan in June, the feast of the Virgen del Carmen and the election of Torrevieja's "Queen of Salt" in July, and one of the biggest festivals, "Habaneras" - an international music contest, which takes place in August. There is a Nature park "Rio Safari" near Elche, off the Santa Pola motorway. There you can see animals like hippopotami, giraffes, elephants, tigers, lions, alligators, the caiman farm,the aquarium, the reptile house, and avery. Pola Park in Santa Pola offers more than 20 different attractions: bouncy castles, rides through the park, boating lake, the laser labyrinth, scary rides, a games arcade, a 60m high tower with an excellent panorama, restaurants. The entry to the park is free. Benidorm is 75 kilometres up north and it offers a lot for great days out: Spain's biggest theme park " Terra Mitica", the water world of "Aqualandia", the exotic bird and marine life centre "Mundomar". The seals' and dolphins' shows are worth seeing at Mundomar. The dolphinarium is right at the top of the hill and the views of Benidorm and the surrounding mountains are stunning. At Terra Mitica you can visit ancient Rome, Greece, Egypt, ride the Magnus Colossus, go down the Nile and many more. Terra Natura is other animal park close to Benidorm.
Villamartin / Pinada Golf area
Villamartin area Villamartin is a residential area 2 kms inland from the Costa Blanca coastline. It is renowned for its championship golf course making it a popular all year round resorts for the holiday maker. In the main square you will find a wide selection of bars and restaurants open all year round. In addition there is a bank, supermarket and souvenir shops. For keen bowlers there is even a bowling green nearby. The apartment is only a five minute walk away from all these amenities making it an ideal base. There are two other golf courses close by and a five minute drive takes you down to the nearest beach.
How to get there
Flying to Murcia (San Javier) you are only a 15 minute drive from Villamartin. Airport pick ups and car hire can be arranged, if required.s For cheap flight bookings to Murcia from most uk airports contact Ryanair.com, Easyjet.com or Jet2.com Alicante Airport is about 50 minutes away on the Autovia AP7and is served by most of the major airlines from the uk and from Ireland Murcia (San Javier): 20 km
