The property has been renovated and furnished to a very high standard. To be let and managed by a family member living locally, who will be happy to help and advise if necessary.
British satelite tv
There are DVDs in abundance for all tastes for your enjoyment with modern tv.
There is and iPod/mp3 docking station.
Possible to split to 2 single beds in bedroom, please let us know in advance. Sofa bed is a double, Washing machine located in separate utility room. Ceiling fans in bedroom and lounge.
Towels and linen provided with a €35 fee charged for cleaning and linen change payable locally.
BEACH/POOL TOWELS NOT PROVIDED, however it is possible to rent these from us (saves on your luggage allowance with the low cost airlines!) just ask when booking.
There will be some shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and a few other toiletries available, to get you started if you come hand luggage only as you cannot put these items in hand luggage. Hair straighteners and hairdryer for your convenience.

Managed locally by English speaking family member, who will be happy to give help or advice if needed during your stay.
If you have a very late arrival, (after the supermarket has closed) we can arrange to have some provisions put into the apartment for you (pay on arrival), just let us know
This is a second floor apartment with balcony, not suitable for young or unsupervised children
Conditions
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
Refundable breakages deposit of £100 required on arrival, to be refunded before your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
25% of rental fee secures the booking (non refundable),
Balance payable 6 weeks before arrival.
If booking less that 6 weeks before arrival date, payment in full is required.
€35 cleaning and linen change fee payable locally
Property not suitable for children under 5 or unsupervised children due balcony and no lift

There are miles of blue flag beaches within a short drive.The ideal location for golf lovers or familes looking to relax and unwind, with a communal pool and many restaurants,bars and sports facilities nearby.
Over 50 percent of Torrevieja town (10 mins drive) consists of two enormous Salt Lakes of Torrevieja and La Mata, which gives it its microclimate. Bathing in the salt lakes is known to be effective against asthma, rheumatism, dermatological conditions, heart diseases, skin disorders and other health problems, which is why many North-European sufferers have tried the area and moved in for good.
With an average annual temperature of over 20 degrees centigrade and 340 days sunshine a year, this makes the area a very healthy climate, recommended by international doctors. The salt lakes are now also a thriving bird reserve and Natural Park.
The apartment is only 100 metres from the Villamartin golf course with Las Ramblas and Campoamor courses within a 10 minute drive. Many Spanish take their holidays in the beach areas in July and August.
Cartegena, Murcia city and Alicante are all within a 40 minute drive away and offer a multitude of museums, shops, cafes and restaurants. About an hour drive north you can reach Benidorm with its theme parks and renowned great night-life.
Cartegena is a Historical city with a port (now used as a stop on many Mediterranean cruises) lots of museums, interesting shops and architecture.
Orihuela is just a 20mins drive inland through the orange and lemon groves; and is a historical town unspoilt by tourism, with churches and museums and some interesting architecture. Siesta is observed and everything shuts down for the afternoon.
The Villamartin / Villamartin Plaza area
This is the perfect location for golf lovers, families looking to relax and unwind, couples looking for a romantic break, or those looking for a very lively night-life. The plaza has it all! There is a communal pool and many restaurants and bars, for all tastes and budgets. Indian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, English, German and other International cuisine. Some offer early bird special prices, or special menus of the day at budget prices. Something for everyone.
There are banks with cash points, and a medical centre in the plaza.
(In the local area it is not easy to change travellers cheques or currency to Euros)
Torrevieja has a water park open from June to mid-September. All local beaches are blue flag. A local bus runs from outside the plaza to the beach area. There are taxis operating from outside the plaza. Car only necessary if you intend to explore. Maps available in the apartment.

There are also great golden sandy beaches for you to explore. The sandy blue flag beaches of La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca and Campoamor are a few minutes drive away. There are Marinas in Cabo Roig and Campoamor.

Flights operate from all regions in the UK and Ireland, and from other parts of Europe into-
Murcia (San Javier Airport) 20-25 mins by road.
Alicante Airport 45-50 mins by road.
No direct Public transport exists from either airport to the apartment, car hire or taxi a must.
Check out Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, Thomsonfly and many more. You can often find the best deal by using comparison sites like Kayak.co.uk or Travel Supermarket.com. There are also plenty of car hire companies to use, however prices have risen quite a lot in the last year for car hire.
We can arrange pick-ups and drop offs for the airport if required. Price is generally about €30 Murcia and €45 Alicante

At short notice I had to visit Spain for 3 nights on business and chose this apartment for location, price and prompt response to my enquiry. Linen and towels were included so I could travel with just hand-luggage. Was met by Christine the owner and pleased that all mod-cons available and in working order. The apartment was quite stylish and had a homely feel to it. As I was alone, it was good to have English TV. Bit of a hubub at night from the Villamatin plaza below but it didn't disturb my sleep at all. Supermarket downstairs very handy and plenty of bars & restaurants (so no need for taxis during my stay). Bathroom cabinet had lots of leftover bits'n'bobs which was a nice touch. So was the few larder items.The apartment was clean and secure. I was very pleased and would happily use again should the need arise. |

We came here on our honeymoon - as we know the area well, it was larger than we had expected - as the photo's don't get the true size captured. Fully stocked with all you could need and very convienant supermarket literally just below. We had some cloudy and rainy days but it did not spoil it one bit as we just sat on the balcony reading or when it was rainy we chilled out watching DvD's. The plaza is fantastic - we had awesome food out every night and even though we were right on top of the plaza when you shut the doors over to go to bed - the noise was also shut out. We had an amazing honeymoon & would definitly rent the apartment again :-) |
