A large fully furnished two bedroom first floor apartment, situated in a prime location on a prestigious, peaceful, gated condominium, overlooking the tropical gardens, swimming pool and thirteenth fairway of Pinal golf course (Vilamoura 2),which is maintained to a very high standard and suitable for both families and couples alike, with the pools having separate shallow sections(0.5m) a permanent day time administration presence is maintained throughout the year, and plentiful private parking available within the complex.
Situated opposite the "old village", a picturesque, pedestrianised array of villas with restaurants, bars and a supermarket only a two minute stroll away. the famous "four season's country club", Hilton hotel and brown's leisure club also nearby. a tourist train runs at regular intervals from outside the complex to the marina, both beaches and Hilton hotel if desired (the kids will love it)
The apartment is within an easy twenty minute walk, or five minute taxi ride, to Europe’s largest marina, Vilamoura, with excellent leisure facilities, two beautiful beaches, casino, water park, shops, restaurants and bars in abundance, accordingly a car is not really a necessity with faro airport being only a twenty minute drive away.

Golf in Vilamoura
A golfer's paradise,there are six centrally located courses surrounding the complex with several others only a short drive away,you will be spoiled for choice.
The Old Course at Vilamoura:
The Old Course at Vilamoura was inaugurated in 1969 and is an 18 hole par-73 course that is set within a rich green landscape with gentle sloping hills ad tree lined fairways which pose quite a stern test. Previously the course hosted the Portuguese open and has recently undergone some redesigning in order to bring it up to scratch with the best courses in Europe.

Pinhal Golf Course Vilamoura:
The 18 hole par 72 Pinhal Course in Vilamoura opened in 1976 and stands in a magnificent Pine Forest with superb views over the sea. The front nine winds through umbrella pines while the back nine is more open with sea views. This course is not quite as severe as Oceanico Old Course and the average golfer will certainly find it more forgiving. Click here for detailed information about this course
Laguna Golf Course Vilamoura:
The 18 hole, Par 72 Laguna Course is set amongst dunes and water hazards which come into play on more than half the holes, so there is much trouble off the tee for a miss-hit shot. Accuracy is needed here as this is a real test of golfing skill.

Victoria Clube de Golf Course Vilamoura:
This is the longest golf course (90 hectares and 6560m) in Portugal which was designed by Arnold Palmer. It is a Par 72 18 hole championship course which opened in 2004 which was designed by Arnold Palmer.
Every care has been taken to preserve the original wetland, carob, olive and almond trees which surround several lakes which provide reservoirs for the course. With 5/6 tees per hole, wide and undulating fairways, extensive water hazards and well positioned bunkers the Victoria Course rewards the ambitious shot-maker.

Millennium Golf Course Vilamoura:
The Millennium Course at Vilamoura is a new course that opened up in May 2000 - hence its name. Its a shortish open course which was designed by Martin Hawtree and has a most attractive and interesting layout.
The course stands in a fairly heavily wooded area with narrow fairways and a wonderful landscape that is enriched by lakes that are on the 4th, 17th and 18th holes.

Vila Sol Golf Course Vilamoura:
Vila Sol is a superb championship course created by the English designer Donald Steel. It is 6242m in length and offers players a full 27 holes and played host to the Portuguese Open for 2 years running.
The course runs through the centre of a valley and has been sculpted from the contours of the land in a woodland setting of umbrella pines, fig and almond tress and 300 year old cork oaks. It encourages a game of tremendous flexibility, with three loops of 9 holes, each delivering separate and distinct types of challenge. The large timbered terrace of the clubhouse overlooks the 18th green and is perfect to relax and have a drink after an enjoyable round of golf.

The Vilamoura area
