About the home

An excellent self-catering two bedroom apartment refurbished for the 2012 season only minutes away from the heart of Vilamoura and its nightlife. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms one being a double and the second having twin beds both bedrooms are light and airy with great views of the gardens.The living room has an american style kitchen with a breakfast bar and an oven with hob and a washing machine.Wthin the living room is a dinning area with seating for 6 people, there is also a flat screen tv with satellite (mostly english channels) .The apartment has air conditioning through out The local supermarket and cafes are within a couple minutes walk with a cinema showing english spoken films.The apartment is on a beautiful mature complex with a child's pool and adult pool with landscaped gardens .

The apartment is ideally located for the family holiday being only 10 minutes away from the beach and the water sports.The apartment is also close to plenty of restaurants for eating out and strolling around one of the best marinas in Portugal. The marina offers daily trips out and you can visit the Roman ruins close by or the conservation land and lakes protecting the wildlife . The apartment is also good for the chill out holiday because of its quiet location and gardens the pool area gets the sun for most of the day.

The deposit is 30% on booking and the balance payable 8 weeks before arrival payment can be by credit/debit card or bank transfer.There is also a security deposit required on entry to insure against damages of £200 returned on exit.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve boasts 100 miles golden sandy beaches with the larger ones having life guard patrols on through out the summer months. The beaches are free to use apart from when you are hiring sun loungers and parasols then there's a small charge. Most of the beaches have restaurants and bars on serving excellent food and cold drinks all year around and offer all water sports.

The Algarve also has a large number of fishing villages and marinas offering the typical Portuguese foods and drinks and daily boat trips.The Algarve also is best known for its brilliant sunshine giving over 300 days a year and mild climate in the winter.

The Algarve because of its natural harbours has strong links to the Romans and Moors and this can be seen in the buildings of their cities some dating back to 2000BC.

The Vilamoura / Terracos do Mar area

Vilamoura is one of the newer parts of the Algarve boasting the biggest marina in Portugal and over a dozen championship level golf courses. The Portuguese masters tournament is held there every year attracting all the big stars from around the world to play golf. We offer all our guests discounted golf on all the courses through out vilamoura and the algarve.There is also a tennis club locally that is open to the general public and is only a 10 minute walk away.The beach offers all the water sports such as jet skiing,snorkelling,para gliding,water skiing and scuba diving.

The beach is one of the most beautiful in Portugal and is golden sand in colour it has been awarded the golden flag of europe the only one in portugal and links to Olhos de Agua village by walking on the beach. The apartment is close to many restaurants of international cuisine and the typical Portuguese restaurants and bars plenty to eat at through out your holiday.

Vilamouras only 15 minutes away from the bright lights of Albufeira and its famous strip with all its bars and night clubs and golden beaches .The old town of Albuferia can be accessed by the local bus service which is very frequent and cheap to use the old towns main square and its quaint houses offers a good night out watching the street entertainers and listening to the Nepalese wind pipe group.

There are festivals held through out the Algarve starting in march and ending in the new year firework displays. The Zoo marine with its interactive dolphins is only 15 minutes away and you can get there by the free bus service which picks up and drops off all over Vilamoura opens March closes October daily from 9.00 am closing at 7.00pm. The next biggest festival is in the village of Pera which each year holds a sand festival were artists from all over the world design sand sculptures opens June to October 7 days a week cost 7 euros well worth a visit.

The shopping centre of Algarve is only 15 minutes away and is the largest shopping mall in the Algarve and has a free bus service operating 7 days a week in the summer months. The marina of Vilamoura has daily trips to see the dolphins or to go fishing and just cruising along the coastline sipping champagne and cold beers.

British airway, Fly monarch, Fly thomson, Air tours, First choice, Jet 2, Easy jet, , Bmi baby, Iberia, Tap air and many more.

We can arrange car hire or airport transfer if needed.There is a local bus that leaves faro airport every hour
and takes you into vilamoura centre and then a short taxi ride to the apartment.
We also supply directions from faro airport to the apartment if making your own way.
