About the home

The Old Village is a 15 minute walk to one of Europe's larges marinas and a 20 minute walk to the beach. There is a road train which runs frequently. The complex has several bars and restaurants, an internet cafe, a tourist office where you can hire cars and bikes and book trips to the local attractions. There is also a small supermarket which is open 7 days a week.

The property is entered on the ground floor with the living room to the left and the dining and kitchen area to the right. There is also a toilet on the ground floor. The back of the ground floor has two sets of french doors which give the property light from all sides and keeps it very cool in the summer.

The first floor has two bedrooms, both with two single beds, french doors on both sides of the room and ensuite facilities. The second floor is the same as the first but has a set of steps that lead up to the roof terrace where you will find sun loungers and matresses. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

This property underwent a total refurbishment (inside and out) in February 2012.

We can provide 2 zbeds (for children, if your party exceeds 8 adults), travel cot and high chair, free of charge, if required

The complex is a well maintained condominium with 24 hour security guards and CCTV cameras.

There is a public phone, a postbox, an internet cafe, several bars and restaurants, several tourist offices with all the information on day trips, car and bike hire facilities.

The site also has a supermarket which is open 7 days a week.

Vilamoura is now a very popular all year round resort.More and more people are discovering just how great the winter months can be here,with the best year round climate in europe.Vilamoura has almost anything you will need for a fantastic summer or winter break.If its golf you like then try one of the 5 championship golf courses here.Vilamoura tennis club has 10 courts for your use.We have every type of restaurant here from japanese to a fish and chip shop,and Willies which is a michelin star reastaurant,most of these have outside dining through the summer .The Marina is full of designer shops,bars,restaurants with live music and watersports activites.
Vilamoura beach is 5 minute walk from the centre of the Marina and has restaurants on the beach.
A cycle path now extends around a large part of central vilamoura and its very easy to hire bikes and have them delivered to your door. Tennis, horse riding,lawn bowls and gyms and spars are also available.
There are two large shopping centres (Faro and Guia) which are both about a 25 min drive away.

Ryan air,easy jet and most budget and scheduled airlines fly direct in to Faro airport,which is the main airport for the whole of the Algarve.
There is a taxi rank outside Faro airport and the journey time to the Old Village is approximately 25 minutes. If hiring a car directly from the airport, we can provide driving instructions.
