A beautiful third floor two bedroom apartment situated on the Marina in Vilamoura.
Includes air-conditioning/heating in all rooms, 2 twin bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen including microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, fridge freezer, a living room with cable TV and wi-fi, 2 sofas (one is a sofa bed), 2 bathrooms, including a spa bath and power showers.

Has a shared swimming pool with landscaped surroundings, free parking and a 24hr security desk.
A fantastic location only a couple of minutes walk to all the cafes, bars, restaurants and shops on the Marina and only a short stroll to the beach.

Vilamoura is more of an area than a town in itself and has grown over the past couple of decades to more or less engulf Quarteira to the east. Located virtually in the middle of the Algarve coast, within 15Km of the main airport at Faro, Vilamoura's accessibility has helped it become one of Europe's largest beach resorts. The 20 square Km of purpose built resort are home to practically every form of sport, entertainment and amenity imaginable. Combined with wide, well laid out roads, manicured gardens and public spaces and 6 golf courses Vilamoura is without doubt a world class holiday destination.

The town is built around the upmarket, 1,200 berth Vilamoura Marina . Facilities are extensive and the marina caters for the whole spectrum of boats from small speedboats through to 40+ meter yachts. The harbourside is the in place for the yachting set and is home to a number of smart, chic bars, restaurants and hotels.

For holidays 7 days or less – the apartment will be clean on arrival and will be cleaned after you leave – no other cleaning/towel changes/linen changes will be made but you have use of the washing machine in the property if desired.

For holidays 8 to 14 days - as above but with an extra mid way light clean with towels and linen changed at that time.

Unfortunately Short Term Breaks of 4 days or less may not possible during July and August, however do please enquire.

The Vilamoura / Vilamoura Marina area

The 20 square km of purpose built resort are home to practically every form of sport, entertainment and amenity imaginable. Combined with wide, well laid out roads, manicured gardens and public spaces and 6 golf courses Vilamoura is without doubt a world class holiday destination.

The town is built around the upmarket 1,200 berth Vilamoura Marina which was constructed with private money in the 1970s. Facilities are extensive and the Marina caters for the whole spectrum of boats from small speedboats through to 40m+ yachts, coastal sightseeing boats and catamarans and deep sea fishing boats. The Marina is well worth visiting during your holidays as there are so many bars, restaurants, shops and boutiques to stroll around and tempt you, plus the Casino is nearby in amongst the huge array of 4 and 5 star hotels.

Every day the local Fruit & Veg and Fish Markets are open in the next door town of Quarteira, which also hosts a famous Gypsy Market on the edge of town every Wednesday morning throughout the year. Quarteira is a very typical Portuguese coastal town with many wonderful restaurants, cafes, bars and shops throughout the town and along the beautiful long promenade.

There is also a tourist train in summer which passes through the area regularly and takes you throughout Vilamoura and to Quarteira.

Due to the size of the resort area, Vilamoura offers the visitor nearly every form of sport and entertainment, and the nearby Falesia beach has miles of golden sandy beach. Amongst the many attractions and facilities there are 6 world class golf courses, a beautiful Marina with fishing and leisure cruises, boat and jet ski hire, there is also a Lawn Bowling Club, a Tennis Centre, a Sports Club, a Family Golf Park and an excellent Riding School, as well as an array of cafés, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and an International Casino. Situated on the street running along the west side of the Marina is a preserved Roman Site and Museum of “Cerro da Vila” providing an interesting glimpse into the past history of the area. In Roman times this location was important in producing a fish paste known as "garum". The ruins also include the baths in which the mariners used to bathe. Getting around is easy, there is a tourist train which runs very regularly in the summer season and goes all over Vilamoura.
The neighbouring town of Quarteira was once upon a time small a fishing village (with a daily fishing market) that has since the 1960s blossomed into a bustling town, with the most colourful gypsy market every Wednesday morning which is great for gifts. Also about 5 minutes drive away is the Aquashow water and theme park which is excellent for all ages.

All of Vilamoura's 6 championship standard 18-hole golf courses are around a 5 minute drive from The Lake Resort: the 5 Oceânico courses are The Old Course, Pinhal, Laguna, Victoria, Millennium courses and the Pestana Vila Sol Course. The newest course is the Oceânico Victoria which holds the annual Portugal Masters Golf Competition in October. Prices are reasonable and well worth trying even if you have never played before, club and shoe hire is normally available at the courses. Also well situated for Golfers wishing to play the nearby Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago courses.

This beautiful apartment is located on the beautiful Vilamoura Marina and 5 minutes walk from the beach in the popular seaside and golfing resort of Vilamoura in Central Algarve.

Vilamoura is just off the EN125 road between Faro and Albufeira and is just a 20 minute drive from the airport. Vilamoura has good local bus and taxi services and the nearest railway station is just 10 minutes drive from Vilamoura.
