About the home

The Old Village is very pretty and unusual, the streets are cobbled and the houses are all painted light pastel
colours, the gardens are very well kept by the condominium. The Old Village welcomes golfers and families alike. The facilities are three swimming pools, three a la cart restaurants, cafe bars, general bars and a supermarket.

The apartment is a first and second floor apartment with with a roof terrace. There are three bedrooms, one bedroom is en-suite with modern bathroom furniture.

The apartment is furnished and decorated to a very high standard and is a home from home. The roof terrace is a area where you can sunbath or hang the washing, the views of the Old Village are very attractive.

The kitchen has a attached dining area as well as a breakfast bar, the kitchen has modern units and granite work surfaces. The living room is comfortable and has views through two sets of patio doors over the main pool area. Air Conditioning.

Outside the patio doors in the living room there is a large balcony, with table and chairs an ideal place for breakfast or a evening drink.

Further details outdoors:
There are three swimming pools, the main pool is ideal for small children as it has a large shallow area.
The Dolphin Pool and the Princess Garden Pool are ideal for the older child although all children are welcome there.

There are three a la cart restaurants, Princess Gardens, Zanzibar, and Casa Do Largo, all of the restaurants are worth visiting. If you like sports there is the Village Inn which has plasma TV's showing sport programmes.

For quick meals there is the Jazz Cafe and Bar O Cafe, the food served in the cafe's is of a very good standard.

The other bar at the other end of the Village is Bar Nautica, there is also a plasma TV here which major sports events and entertainment events are shown, i.e. Big Brother.

A welcome pack is supplied for guest arrival.

There is a cost payable locally for the sunbeds around the pool areas. This I am afraid is beyond our control.

Conditions

We ask for a 10% deposit to hold the booking and the final payment is payable six weeks before your departure.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Vilamoura is very green and pretty, the Marina is a 10 minute walk, around the marina there are very good restaurants and shops, a great place to sit and watch the world go by day or night.

The local town of Loule has a weekly market for cheap leather goods etc., Nearby is a large water park, amusement park, and zoo.

The Vilamoura / Vilamoura Old Village area

The Old Village is situated very near to some prestigious golf courses, nearby is The Old Course, Pinhal, Millenium, Villa Sol, Victoria, etc.,

Half an hour away is Algarve shopping a modern shopping centre with cinema's, worth visiting.

The beach is a 10 -15 min walk away. Behind the Tivoli Hotel is a Nikki Beach area, over the road there is a Nikki Beach restaurant which in the height of summer is well worth a visit. All of the beaches are very clean and are of golden sand.

Destination Airport Faro in Portugal.

Hire cars can be arranged and collected from the airport, or we can arrange for car hire for you through our managing agent.

Taxis are located on the right hand side just outside the airport, most Taxi drivers speak very good English, they also know where the Old Village is.

The cost of a Taxi is approx 20-30 Euro and takes about 20 minutes.

Sorry haven't got round to emailing sooner, just wanted to say how much me and my family enjoyed our holiday in your lovely apartment at the Old Village.
It really felt like home from home and out 3 boys loved both it and the complex. I will certainly keep you detail as we loved Vilamoura and will be in contact to book with you again soon!!!!!
