About the home

This spacious luxury first floor apartment is located in the exclusive Praia Village development, located just fifteen minutes’ walk from the long sandy beach and the beautiful marina with many restaurants and bars. Convenient for all amenities yet away from the bustle of Vilamoura's centre.

Praia Village has its own private pool, with a separate pool perfect for children. Leading from the living room is a balcony, overlooking the colourful gardens and furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With a double and a twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for families or golfers, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Top specification fittings throughout, including English TV, Air conditioning, Spa bath, Steam treatment and two bathrooms, one with bath and both with showers.

The price also includes meet and greet at the apartment by the English property manager, who can be contacted in the event of any difficulty, to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. Transfers can also be arranged.

Praia Village

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve has a good all year round climate, lovely long sandy beaches, great golf courses, water parks, good food and numerous places of interest.

The Algarve is also well known for its attractive fishing villages - and hence, of course, for the seafood, which is delicious. The Atlantic location means although very hot in June, July and August, the heat is not overpowering. The climate remains warm in Spring and Autumn, and over winter you get warm days, with the nights noticeably cooler.

The Vilamoura / Praia Village area

Vilamoura has an attractive marina that is the hub of the resort and which offers an extensive variety of bars, restaurants and shops.

The apartment, in the newly built luxury condominium, Praia Village (completed in late 2007) is ideally situated. It is in a quiet, relaxed area, yet only a 15 minute walk from both the marina (Vilamoura's centre) and the long blue flag Falesia beach. There are several supermarkets within a 5-10 minute walk of the apartment.
An 18 hole crazy golf course, tennis courts and restaurants and bars are also within a short walk. Bicycles can be hired from several outlets. An excellent holiday can be had without the need to hire a car, though plentiful car hire is available to see the Algarve's sights and the apartment benefits from a a secure underground garage.

For keen golfers there are 5 top class golf courses within a 5 minute drive of the apartment and many more within the immediate locality. A water park is also only a 5 minute journey in the car and boat trips, jeep safaris and sightseeing tours can be booked from the marina or by phone so there is plenty to do for everyone.

Vilamoura is a convenient 20 minute drive from Faro airport. There are many flights from most UK airports to Faro. We will provide full directions for you.

If you want to hire a car, BestDeal (+351 289 388 364) speak English and will deliver a car to the apartment. The apartment comes with a secure parking space.

If you want to hire from the airport, several companies have desks there, or you can use a website like HolidayAutos.com. Car can be collected from Vilamoura Marina.
