Relax in this superbly located one bedroom apartment peacefully situated in a private condo with sea views and only minutes from the Marina (approx. 0.8km). If it gets too hot, you can either use the shared / children pools or enjoy a 200 metre walk to the nearby beach (Marina Beach). You can also enjoy a good book in the private balcony or under a palm tree. The apartment has one bedroom with one double bed and there is a double sofa bed in the lounge. The modern kitchen is a good size and well equipped.
The complex has a large communal pool within an enclosed garden so children can play safely. In this fully equipped, furnished and air conditioned apartment you can just relax and enjoy your holiday without ever having to worry about getting a taxi or hiring a car.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Vilamoura / Vilamoura Marina area
The world-renowned Marina in Vilamoura is full of expensive private yachts and cruisers but for those less well off a wide range of boat trips can be purchased. At the Marina you'll find superb shops,affordable restaurants,banks, supermarkets,bars and tourist offices.
There is a wide range of watersports: dinghy sailing,jet skiing,paragliding,scuba diving,snorkeling,water skiing, windsurfing and shark and marlin fishing.
If you're a golfer, you can choose from the six marvellous golf courses available. In 2006 the Algarve has been awarded the Top Travel Award as best established golf destination in the world.
In Quarteira it is worth a visit to the sea front as there is a long promenade populated with cafes and restaurants. Apart from walking the promenade, or using the sandy beach, there are both fish and fruit markets to visit plus a large 'Gypsy' market every Wednesday.
You’ll find great restaurants and nightlife close by (Marina / Promenade in Quarteira) and there’s lots to do in Vilamoura during the day. There are five superb golf courses all within a 5 minute drive of the apartment (Pinhal Course is within walking distance – 15/20minutes).
All in all we thoroughly recommend a holiday in Vilamoura for both golfers and non golfers and people of any age.
How to get there
Fly to Faro with either Easyjet, BMI, Flybe, Jet2, Thomson, Globspan, Monarch, Airtours, BA, Thomas Cook or Ryanair/Aerlingus if flying from Ireland.
Flight is approximately 2.5 to 3hrs.
Reliable and affordable car hire available from http://www.autorent.pt/ar/AfRequest.aspx?id=1036 and can be collected/left at Faro Airport. Cars can also be delivered to the Apartment if required. Taxis are available at the Airport and the cost each way is approximately 30 Euros.

Free Airport pick-ups and deliveries on weekends for our guests. On weekdays only when arrival/departure time is after 1.30pm.
An information folder is in the Apartment displaying places of interest and features/forthcoming events, together with our own selection of the best local Restaurants.
Please bring own pool / beach towels.
Pets are not allowed.
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
Changeover days are flexible subject to availability. Guests may gain access to property from 4pm on arrival days and must vacate property by 12 noon on departure days. (flexible in Low Season)

Conditions
The payment of the reservation (negotiable) must be made by bank transfer.
When you arrive you must leave a deposit of 150 Euros, which the owner will keep until the keys are returned to him, and if the apartment doesn´t show any damages.
The payment must be made in cash and beforehand, when the keys are handed over.
Rental period is one week. Rentals for periods less than a week (min. 3 days) are available on request.
A monthly rate is negotiable in the winter months from November to February.
Bed linens, towels and house cleaning provided on arrival and changed on a weekly basis.
Deposits are not refundable.
Every care has been taken to ensure the safety of our guests, but guests should take out their own holiday insurance. The holidaymakers should ensure that all practical measures are taken to prevent injury to any party member. If there is an area of concern at the property please inform us immediately.
Under no circumstances must the number of persons occupying the property exceed that which is agreed on the booking form. Occupancy over the maximum party size, at any time during the rental period, will be charged at 100 Euros per day.

Guestbook for Privately owned holiday home
Firstly we would like to say how much we have enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is absolutely first class and so well equipped! The weather has been kind and the people very friendly. Although we haven't ventured much further than the fish market, where I was spoilt for choice with things to try. For us, this has been a wonderful - restful - stressfree week, made so for the most part by our hosts, who have been charming and most helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to anyone wanting to come to the Algarve for a holiday. A sincere thank you to you both and all the best with your "big" event.

We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a home away from home in Vilamoura. The apartment is right on the beach, only minutes away from the marina. It is modern, excellently equipped and spotlessly clean. With sea views from every room, it is the perfect location for a relaxing break. Our host has been most welcoming and helpful – providing handy directions, guide books, a tour and a dvd library. We would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

We enjoyed our short holiday in Vilamoura. The apartment is very spacious with all mod cons. It is in a prima location for beach lovers. The pool area has very well attended to green and shrubbery areas. We felt very relaxed and secure. Many thanks for showing us around the area, it was most helpful. Our one adventure outside Vilamoura was to take in a 3hr cruise along the Algarve Coast. It was lovely, but do take along a jacket or cardigan as it can be cold out at sea.

Really liked the in built BBQ on the balcony as it has been great cooking the fish from the market just 10 minute walk away. Its location is great, apprx 10 mins to the marina. We went on the "Tangerina" boat for a day. It was excellent especially because it takes a max of 14 people which made it a bit more personal. Finally Rui, what a great host. He makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive in Faro. Thanks for a great apartment

What a wonderful apartment, bright, clean and very well equipped, we have had a wonderful relaxing week here to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary... ... weather has been beautiful so we were on the beach everyday, we feel gulity leaving the pool area... ... Parky's on the Marina is excellent for food and service - right round the other side... ... Our host has been most helpful who we coul contact about anything if we needed to. We hope to be back next year!
