The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve is famous for its beautiful beaches and the nightlife where you can party the holiday away. The weather is good all the year around reaching its peak in July and August.
Vilamoura has one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal and Roman ruins and a nature park. The Algarve has strong links with the moors and you can see it in the buildings and fishing villages.
The centre of Albufeira is just a short drive away with a vast array of clubs bars and live entertainment and of course the typical Portuguese restaurants that are famous for its fish foods.
Vilamoura / Condominio Do Golfe II area
Vilamora can offer the typical beach holiday with water sports and beach bars and the golfing holiday as there are over a dozen courses to choose from all championship quality.
The marina has dozens of bars restaurants and cafes from all over the world and shops for those gifts to take home .There are daily fishing trips either deep sea or shark fishing or just bobbing about sipping cool drinks as you visit the coast line.
The zoo marine is only a short ride away and has interactive dolphins that you can swim with or use the water slides and rides in the park. The village of Pera holds a sand festival every year and over fifty artists from all over the world attend designing sand sculptures it starts in June and ends in October.
There are daily trips to Gibraltar for cheap shopping or Lisbon for shopping and culture. The local area has Roman ruins and artefacts that have washed up on the beaches that you can visit. Then there is a market locally that sells hand crafted ornaments and paintings and the normal holiday collectables.
