The Vilamoura / Praia Village area

From the Marina, with its approximately 1,000 berths, you can head for the sea in a motor-boat or yacht on invigorating outings or a fishing trip. And there are numerous water-sports on offer in Vilamoura: windsurfing, parasailing, sailing, water-skiing, underwater diving – the choice is yours. Around the Marina, there is a range of shops and boutiques with top brands, bars, restaurants and outdoor sitting areas – here, after a bit of shopping, you can choose between fresh fish, an infinite variety of shellfish, or an exotic meal from a far-flung part of the world. Later on, towards the end of the evening, you can go for a stroll, sit on one of the terraces, visit a bar or a casino with a night-club that rivals the most sophisticated in Europe.

If you are fond of the sun and the sea, try the beaches. Whether you choose Praia de Vilamoura or Praia da Falésia, both are spacious and have golden sands and tempting beach bars where you can enjoy a refreshing drink when it’s at its hottest, or a late-afternoon sunsetter.
