Praia Village is located just a 10 minute walk to the Blue Flag Falesia Beach and the Marina. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a short distance away from Vlamoura which is a purpose built resort where everything has been planned with pleasure in mind. The huge range of activities makes it a very popular destination for families and people looking for a fun filled holiday.
The Vilamoura area offers a fabulous diversity of experiences, from quiet pine forest walks and Atlantic beaches to a Casino (where you can enjoy a show, dinner and maybe try your luck!!). There you will also find a shooting club, bowls, riding school, deep sea game fishing, water sports and an extensive choice of bars, restaurants and night clubs. One of the main attractions are the five championship golf courses. At the Marina and in the surrounding streets you will find an extensive variety of restaurants and bars, where children are always welcome.
Short distances away you will find Almancil Karting, Aquashow, Zoomarine at Guia, (where you will also find the largest shopping centre in the Algarve) Atlantic Park, Krazy World and Aqualand (The Big One) Roma mini golf park is in the centre of Vilamoura with 18 hole mini golf courses and also a miniature golf course and play area for children.

For those who prefer a more historic holiday while enjoying the sunshine, a day in Faro, the regional Capital has splendid monuments, the Cathedral, the Convent of Nossa Sanana da Assuncas and some very interesting museums, such as the Museum Infante Dom Henrique and the Muase Etnografico. Or visit historic Seville or Lagos, once the capital of the southern part of the Iberian Penninsula.
Vilamoura / Praia Village area
Vilamoura, the Algarves main bustling resort, is really where it all happens: beaches, marina, restaurants, golf courses, shopping, a casino, riding centre, tennis courts and a shooting range.Enjoy a day of family fun at Roma Mini Golf. Go Deep sea fishing or try scuba diving!
Take a day trip to Atlantic Park at nearby Almancil,or try Aquland (The Big One) Water park near Alcantariha for a dayof family fun. Take a Jeep safari or a day cruise and discover the marvellous beaches and rock formations of the Algarve Coast, (these trips can be booked at the kiosks at the Marina).
The lively night life is a perfect way to end a well lived day, or relax at the wonderful restaurants at the Marina or an outdoor Cafe. Take time to relax on the Blue Flag Falesia Beach where you will find sunbeds for hire, restaurants, rest rooms and a shop. For those who wish to drive there is a supervised car park.

How to get there
Faro International Airport is just a 15 to 20 minute drive from Praia Village in Vilamoura. To get there you can either use a taxi, which will cost approx. €25.00, or if driving when you leave the airport follow signs for Portimao/Loule. After approx. 4 kms you will come to a junction of the motorway A22 (IP1). Follow the signs for Portimao/Lisboa. Leave the A22 at the exit marked Boliqueime/Vilamoura and follow signs for Vilamoura. When you reach Vilamoura, continue along Avenida Eng Joao Meireles and Avenida Vilamoura XXI until you see a sign for Praia da Falesia (before the statue roundabout) Avneida Cerro da Vila, turn right. Along this road Praia Village is on your left hand side. Ryanair fly from Ireland to Faro. From the UK there are many airlines covering this route. Car hire is recommended if travelling with small children, otherwise it is not necessary

Further details indoors: This apartment is situated on the ground floor, of this exclusive, private, gated small village, making it child and wheelchair friendly. The patio faces directly onto the swimming pool, making supervision easy while you relax. Furnished to a very high standard it is a bright sunny apartment, however for your comfort, electronically controlled shutters have been installed to compliment the air conditioning throughout. A door monitor is installed, so that you can grant access to your friends without the inconvenience of leaving the apartment. The bathrooms are fitted with a hydro massage feature bath and the second bathroom has a column hydro massage shower. Safes are fitted for your valuables. There is ample storage space in the fitted wardrobes in each bedroom. Should you require it, there is a car space provided in the basement, accessed by remote access and by lift to the apartment. A private drying area can be found at the rear of the kitchen.
Further details outdoors: The exterior of the apartment has a private patio area, where you can relax or dine alfresco. The landscaped gardens make it a very pleasant area in which to relax after a busy day. Sun loungers make it a pleasant area to be in during the day, where you can get sunshine or shade as preferred and with its proximity to the pool a quick dip to cool off is very easy. There is a snack bar in the village and there is a restaurant. supermarket and an ATM machine a four minute walk away.

While this apartment is self catering, maid service is provided once a week. All apartments in the Village are non smoking but guests are welcome to smoke on the patio area. This apartment is not suitable for animals.
Conditions
E-mail and verbal bookings will be held for seven days. A 25% non refundable deposit is required to confirm a booking. Full payment required four weeks prior to arrival. Breakage deposit of €200.00 to be given to keyholder on arrival and will be refunded on departure (subject to satisfctory property inspection) Breakages must be reported to the keyholder.

Any additional charges will be deducted from the security indemnity. The client agrees not to act in any way that would cause disturbance to other residents. Subletting: The accommodation is reserved for the people named on the reservation and no other persons whatsoever are permitted to stay there unless this has been agreed in advance with the owner. The management company may request to leave any persons found to be in breach of the above conditions. The Owners shall not be liable to the Client for a) a temporary defect or stoppage of the supply of public services within the property or appliances in the Garden, or Swimming Pool b) for loss damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, or other matters beyond the control of the owners. This ground floor two bedroom apartment is tucked away in a discreet part of the complex with lovely gardens and 10 meters from the swimming pool.The service we received from the owner, Jackie , was first class and we will certainly be staying there again"
