Luxury new (2008) 2 bedroom apartment set in a great location close to beach, marina and 5 championship golf courses.

The apartment is set in attractive gardens and has a communal pool with shower facilities.

Apartment has a modern feel and has a well equipped kitchen and includes the following.

Sky t.v, Jacuzzi Bath, Hydromassage Shower,Washing Machine/Dryer,Kettle,Toaster,Fridge,Freezer,Microwave,Iron,Ironing Board,Air Conditioning,Video Entry,Electric Shutters and Secure underground parking space.

Vilamoura is set in Europe's largest marina and boasts a wide range of facilitiesincluding hotels,restaurants and a casino.

There are no less than five 18-hole championship golf courses and numerous other sporting facilities. Falesia beach (blue flag) is located within ten minutes walk from the apartment and there are several restaurants on the beach where umbrellas can be rented.

All types of water sports are available locally including big game fishing and dolphin watching. Water parks, Zoo Marine, Algarve shopping centre, Tennis, Horse riding and Lawn Bowls are within minutes of Vilamoura.

Centred on a massive marina, Vilamoura is the largest, purpose-built holiday resort in the Algarve. Leave faro airport and head towards A22 (motorway) towards Portimao/Loule. After approx 4 km leave junction sign posted Boliqueime/Vilamoura. Follow signs for Vilamoura along N125 until you pass Barclays Bank then turm right at traffic lights. You have now entered Vilamoura XX1.Follow road for 1 km past golf courses then turn right at sign Praia Falesia (beach road) continue along this road and Praia Village is located on the left hand side.
There are plenty of low cost airlines that travel to Faro Airport including easyjet, jet2. monarch, globespan, flybe and thomson.
Car hire is not essential although a car will benefit you if you wish to explore what the Algare has to offer

The apartment is fantastic, has everything you could need for a self catering holiday, a fully functioning kitchen with all mod cons is definitely a plus(not that we used them). The gardens and pool area are very clean and tidy.
The complex is a nice friendly and secure place to stay and I would not have any hesitation in recommending the apartment to anyone.

The apartments were of an excellent standard and at first we were very apprenhensive to use anything! we have never been in such clean and well fitted apartments and would recommend them to anyone the area is lovely and peaceful and the pool was hardly full therefore allowing myself and the son in law to battle out various games to be vilamoura champion!
We had superb chilled out holiday with great weather and sandra was always available for any queries we had - thanks for everything

The apartment was excellent and we had a great time. It would be have been good to have a little more info on the resort ie restaurant recommendations and a more detailed local map but really I cannot fault the accommodation, it was clean, uncluttered and very comfortable.We were very grateful for the tv on the day that it rained heavily! The sun came out and we spent the rest of the time on the golf course and on a visit to the old town of Faro which I highly recommend.

Hi Craig,
Just got back from Vilamoura, we have all had a superb holiday!
Vilamoura is lovely, the marina is good to wander around and of course there are plenty of places to eat! Falesia beach goes on for miles and we have spent a few days in the sun and the boys had fun in the sea, we tried walking to Albufeira but didn't make it.
The apartment was fantastic, thank you for letting us hire it, the whole complex was just perfect, the boys braved the pool as did a few other children.
Thank you again, we hope to hire it again sometime.

I am now back to work after my wonderful holiday in Portugal!
Just a quick note to say “thank you” for a seamless holiday – everything was perfect from being met at the airport and then being met again at the apartment.
The apartment itself was beautiful – like home from home – walking distance from beach and marina was fine not too far !!! This matched with weather of 38 degrees on one day made a perfect holiday.
Out of 8 times in Vilamoura at many of the marina hotels this was our best holiday….. Will definitely be booking again next year!

we had a fab holiday.
Your apartment was great. It was so big and so well equipped. it was also very central and I really appreciate all the arrangements you put in place for the transfers to and from the airport. They were so efficient. Helen was also so nice and helpful. Please pass on my thanks to her and to her company and in particular to the wonderful cleaning service provided. I could not fault one thing. We felt so secure and the complex was so private. It was a pleasure to sit out in the lovely balcony in the evenings or when the sun got too hot. I am glad I picked a first floor apartment as the balcony was so private. The pool view was great and it made all the difference when you were sitting out on the balcony. I would go back there tomorrow morning no problem.

The folder in the apartment was so helpful. If you would like any tips from a traveller, when you go there again, you could do up another folder with some leaflets for some of the tours. For example, The 4.5 hour catamaran boat trip is ideal for a family as it is not too long, the tour to fatima was worthwhile even though it was long, it was worth going there, the day of the markets and the next town of albuferia which was great for shopping. we got a taxi there.

We found that the taxis services were cheaper than the tours, particularly for short distances. For example, it would have cost us 40 euros to go by coach to the quateria market and for a total of l0 euros return, we got a taxi. we just asked the agency across the road to ring the taxi and got a price first. 50c they only charge for booking the taxi but did not charge anything for checking the price.

I hope this mail will be useful to you. I know you wont have any difficulty letting your apartment. Enjoy your next golfing trip. Let me know if you buy any further apartments abroad.

Absolutely loved Vilamoura, the weather couldn't have been better and your apartment is absolutely fantastic. Silver holidays (Helen) were brilliant and the welcome pack was a very nice touch. The food at Chez Carlos accross the road was gorgeous, we ate there most nights. Loved your blinds!!! Woke up one morning, looked at my watch as it was so dark and mistakenly thought is was 4am, it was actually 10am!!! (watch upside down!). The kids have never slept so late, we need them at home! It was also nice to know you had your own sun loungers available whenever you wanted.

Don't be surprised if we come back again next year.

Hi Craig,

Returned from Praia Village apt X last Saturday and just wanted to drop you a quick note to say we had an amazing time, made all the more special by your lovely apartment. The apartment exceeded all our expectations and was very clean, well presented and decorated. We especially appreciated the wealth of information provided to us by the management company Silver Holidays and felt safe in the knowledge they were always a quick phone call away if we needed anything.

Safe to say the apartment was so nice that we didn’t actually venture any further than lying by the pool each day ? we also loved the marina and it’s many restaurants each night.

The only drawback was not having a supermarket/corner shop closer to the apartment – sometimes the 8-10 min walk was a bit stifling in the heat but then that is also just us being lazy ;-)

We are already talking about wanting to come and stay again next year we loved it so much.
