About the home

This very spacious, bright & airy 2 bedroom apartment sleeps 4 - 6 people very comfortably and has plenty of space for children to move around. It is located in Praia Village, Vilamoura. Just four years old it is a mere 10 minute walk to the Marina of Vilamoura and a 15 /20 minute leisurely stroll to the blue flag Falesia beach.

Although situated in a quiet residential area its proximity to both the marina and beach is a great asset and we have had very positive feedback from clients during the 2010 season in this regard. It is also within 5 minutes drive of 5 Championship golf courses.

The apartment has been decorated and equipped to a very high standard with the comfort of the holidaymaker of utmost importance. Facilities include aircon, flatscreen tv with sky, a DVD player, iPod music facility, books and games. We also have our own sunbeds for clients use by the pool at all times to avoid that early morning rush to secure one! The balcony is south facing and here you can enjoy the sunshine from lunchtime until sunset, it overlooks the pool and perfectly manicured gardens. There is a gas barbeque for clients use on the balcony, an ideal alternative for al fresco dining rather than dining out. Local supermarkets stock a wide range of fish & meat suitable for the barbeque.

This apartment has so much to offer all types of holidaymakers i.e. families, golfers, young couples, girlie holidays and the retired. We also offer the use of golf clubs & bicycles to our guests together with baby equipment at no extra cost. There is a safety guard available for the balcony for families with young children. Picture yourself relaxing here after a day sightseeing, sunbathing or golfing... I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Facilities

The en suite bathroom has a very relaxing shower with jets and the main bathroom comes with a comfortable good sized bath, both finished to a very high standard. There is ample storage space in the apartment and a drying room off the kitchen.

Electric shutters are on all windows and doors.
The kitchen is fully equipped with Siemens units.
There are DVDs, board games and books in the apartment.
There is a very large selection of phone charger types in the apt so no worries that end.

A meet & greet service is offered for all clients arriving at Praia Village.
There is a very comprehensive folder in the apartment offering information on activities in the area, local services, maps, restaurant cards, local golf courses and taxi numbers.
All linen & towels are supplied with the exception of beach towels.

Use of a cot, highchair, steriliser and baby monitor are offered to clients free of charge where necessary.
The use of golf clubs can be arranged on request for clients wishing to take advantage of the magnificent golf courses in Vilamoura. Bicycles are also available for clients use if required. There is no extra charge for the use of golf clubs or bicycles for your holiday.

A very good sized swimming pool together with a children's section is set in beautiful manicured gardens.

Further details

Normal check-in time is 4pm and departures are at 10a.m. however we will endeavour to accommodate clients to the best of our ability regarding check-in times to the apartment on arrival and departure times from the apartment to the airport especially those travelling with children.

Conditions

Verbal bookings will be held for seven days pending receipt of the booking deposit.

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required on confirmation of booking and the remainder 8 weeks prior to the holiday date please.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The algarve is situated in the south of Portugal on the south west tip of europe. The algarve climate is dominated by african weather and therefore offers a wonderful climate all year round. The area has much to offer with fine sandy beaches, top class golf courses, excellent restaurants, sightseeing , numerous children's activities and many historical places to visit.

The Vilamoura / Praia Village area

Vilamoura is one of the main tourist destinations in the Algarve due to it's location around the marina of Vilamoura. This area has a fine selection of restaurants and bars both overlooking the marina and in the surrounding streets. It's proximity to Faro airport (20 mins drive) is a great asset for the holidaymaker be it for a short break or longer holiday. The area has much to offer for all age groups. There are watersport activities available and also cruises along the Algarve.

The apartment is situated just 20 minutes drive from Faro airport on the N125. Daily flights operate to Faro airport from most UK, Irish and European airports.

Car hire is available at the airport and we can advise on this on booking.
We also offer a private taxi collection from the airport to Praia Village at a cost of approximately €30 euro.

With flights from the UK and Ireland just over 2 hours and the short transfer thereafter, travel time to your holiday destination is at a minimum.

“Amazing apartment” The apartment was just perfect and so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The bikes were an added bonus with cycle tracks giving a safe route to explore the area around the complex. The selection of golf clubs and the barbecue were also a big plus. The pool area was well maintained and with our 'own' sun beds we had no worries getting a place by the pool. Would definitely return and wished we'd stayed longer.

Mary Mc Nally, Ratoath, Ireland, October 2010......Your apartment was really lovely, it was pure luxury and finished to a very high standard, this was certainly not your ordinary run of the mill holiday apartment. You had so many extras in the apartment that it really made it a home from home....we need not have bothered to bring our travel plugs as you had even thought of providing them!!! The whole complex was very clean, safe and quiet at night, we really enjoyed the peace & tranquility of sitting on the balcony enjoying the view of the twinkling lights on the pool with our glass of bubbly before heading out to eat!! Your welcome book was invaluable and very accurate, in particular your recommendations of restaurants in Vilamoura and that is always somethng that takes time to figure out and can be a hit and miss affair when you are visiting a place for the first time. Your recommendations were spot on every time, we enjoyed numerous scrumptious meals and the seafood was the best I have ever eaten. We also enjoyed seeing Bruno Mariano and Declan Ryan sing in The Old Navy Pub and the Atlantic Bar a few times during our holiday, as promised they were well worth a visit and we attempted to dance off those extra llbs!!!!!!!

The drying room was SO useful for towels etc. The air con in the rooms was outstanding and also the shutters to keep the heat out. As I swam up & down the pool daily enjoying the view and the sunshine I was aware that having picked the apartment , not knowing where in the building it was, yours was the one I would have plumped for position wise. Lovely 15 minute stroll to the bustling marina and not far from the beach in the other direction, we found the location perfect. Nice & quiet with loads of parking, so well looked after as in the whole of Vilamoura, with gardeners and cleaners a plenty. We had a brilliant relaxing family holiday, helped by all your advice and contact before we left home and all the extra info you supplied in the apartment. The holiday just went too fast!. I have to say that the pictures on line don't do it half enough justice......
We had everything that we could possibly need......and more......
My only one complaint is that we did not book it for enough nights.....
We're talking about next year and would definitely love to come back - next time for longer!!!!!
