A luxury air-conditioned/climate controlled apartment, on second (top) floor, comprising hallway, lounge/dining room, spacious kitchen/breakfast room, family bathroom, en-suite shower room to main bedroom, and two twin-bedrooms. There is lift access and secure allocated garage parking in the basement. The main bathroom has a spa-style bath for an added touch of luxury.

Accessed from the lounge or dining area is the west facing terrace which is furnished with patio chairs & table so you can dine al-fresco. The terrace overlooks the rural neighbourhood and has views to Vila Sol golf course.

This apartment is ideally located for those looking for a beach holiday, water sports, sailing and world class golf courses; there is the beach at Quarteira, with promenade, cafes and shops, or the quieter beaches at Loule Velha, Trafal and Armajem; close by is the Aquapark, ideal for children of all ages! The Marina provides boat cruises; sail or power, and many other seaside activities. Further afield, there are historical sites, castles and forts.

If you fancy a 'Day at Home', Al Sakia village is family friendly with all the amenities available in the beautifully kept gardens with the adjoining cafe and restaurant; nice and close for thirst quenching! And for those who like to keep fit, there are tennis courts and also a first class Gym.

* Bedroom: the master bedroom is light and spacious, fitted with pine furniture and with a large white finish twin wardrobe, which provides ample hanging space, and room for suitcases. There is a dressing table with mirrors, and additional lighting. The adjoining en-suite shower room opens off the dressing area. Bedroom 2 is at the furthest end of the corridor. This room is fitted with two modern single beds, bedside table each, and a large built-in wardrobe. This room has a small balcony, which is accessed through the patio doors. Bedroom 3 is similar to bedroom 2, but has a smaller wardrobe, and no balcony. Both these rooms are close to the family bathroom at the end of the corridor. All bedroom floors are ceramic tiled.

* Bathrooms: family bathroom; this room is fitted with white sanitary ware, and includes a jacuzzi style bath. There is also an integral shower. A power socket is available adjacent the wash-hand basin. The room is conveniently placed at the end of the internal hall so providing easy access from both bedrooms. The en-suite shower room is also fitted with white sanitary ware, which includes twin wash-hand basins. There is a power socket adjacent, and the back wall to the basins is mirrored in one piece and well lit. The shower itself is 'wet-room' style, taking up the furthest third of the room. Both bathrooms are ceramic tiled through out.

The kitchen is superbly fitted with Bosch appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher; and is large enough for 6 people to breakfast.

The lounge/dining room is furnished with modern leather upholstered chairs and a sofa; it has satellite TV, and CD player. UK free-to-view TV channels: due to the recent change in satellite broadcasting 'footprint', the majority of free-to-view channels, (BBC & ITV etc.), are now unavailable in southern Europe. it is unlikely that this will be resolved satisfactorily during this season (2014). Sky broadcasts are unaffected, and we will endeavour to provide this service as part of your holiday package. For those fluent in Portuguese, the full range of satellite TV programmes are still available.

UK free-to-view TV channels: due to the recent change to the satellite broadcasting 'footprint', the majority of free-to-view channels, (BBC & ITV etc.), are now unavailable in southern Europe. Although it is possible to receive FTV via the internet, the local ISPs may not yet provide sufficient speed to overcome buffering. We are monitoring the situation, and have installed internet in the hope that a reliable FTV source will become accessible. The usual media benefits of the internet are therefore available 24/7 as part of the holiday letting. Sky broadcasts are unaffected, and we provide a comprehensive package that includes Sky Sport. Currently the following stations are available;

• ITV2 & 3 HD; E4 and More4 HD and Ch 5 HD; these may be unobtainable late 2014 or early 2015.

For those fluent in Portuguese, the full range of cable TV programmes are still available.

Further details outdoors

Within the village complex and only a short walking distance from the apartment, (3/5 mins), there is a gym, with sauna, solarium, and dance studio. There is also a beauty treatments salon, Natural Beauty.

The extensive landscaped grounds of the Fazenda das Aguas club provide a large swimming pool, a separate children's pool and children's play area, beautiful gardens with lovely shaded areas and tennis courts. A restaurant, bar and café provide a lively meeting place with meals and snacks served either inside or on the pool terrace. Sunbeds are available at small daily cost. All these amenities are freely available to our guests; some facilities may have controlled terms of use.

Access to our apartment: the lift operates from all levels, but there are 4 steps from the internal entrance lobby to lift level, so access is not ideal for those requiring flat floor access.

The Algarve region

The Algarve region is renowned for sandy beaches, traditional fishing villages and delicious seafood. The sun shines all year around but the heat is not overpowering in the summer season. In the region there are numerous golf courses at Vilamoura and surrounding area and water parks at other nearby locations. Wonderful beaches and coastline as well as other tourist attractions on offer.

Vilamoura

Al Sakia Village is a select development of Villas, Town Houses and Apartments, located in the Algarve's 'Golden Triangle 'just a 20 minute drive west from Faro airport. It is an ideal location for easy access to the wonderful beaches, the Marina at Vilamoura as well as the variety of championship golf courses, all within a few minutes drive.

"Amazing apartment you will not be disappointed"

Wow, what can I say; a truely fantastic spacious apartment. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to ensure that their guests have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The apartment is in A1 condition with a real homely feel about it.

The pool and gardens are fabulous, ideal for all ages. The poolside bar/restaurant has a good lunchtime/evening menu at very reasonable prices with friendly staff. It also offers free internet access.

The apartment is ideally located in peaceful Al Sakia but not too far to walk to bars a restaurants (approx 10 mins). To venture further afield a car is a definite, although Taxis are available we found that they can be expensive depending on which day of the week i.e Fri/Sat and Sun more expensive. The local Market is worth a look and only a 15 minute walk from the apartment. We visited Loule, Albufeira and Villamoura, all well worth a look. Villamoura Marina at night time is amazing with so many bars and restaurants to choose from at varying prices to suit everyone's budget.

We all enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be returning. Thank you to you and your Management company for making our holiday a relaxing, trouble free memorable one.
