If you are unfamiliar with the Vilamoura estate, it is Portugal’s premier holiday destination. The 1,000 berth Marina de Vilamoura is the focal point and offers cruises, sailing and fishing as well as many quality shops, bars and restaurants. All the normal beach activities are available but for the ultimate in relaxation, try a 4-poster bed on the Marina beach. The Vilamoura estate boasts 5 famous golf courses and the Oceanico Victoria Club de Golf regularly hosts European events. Faro airport is only 20 minutes away and private pickup or discount car hire can be arranged. Flight time to Faro is only c.2½ hours from the UK and Ireland. All year sunshine coupled with numerous daily flights makes Vilamoura a convenient holiday or short break destination for all ages and tastes.

We are just back from a fantastic week staying in this beautiful apartment. The location is ideal - just a 10 minute walk from all the action at the marina and also the nearby family golf park which our kids loved. The apartment itself was just perfect - so spacious and comfortable. We loved the jacuzzi bath and the sauna shower! Good communication from the owner prior to our departure made the whole holiday go very smoothly. We would def stay here again!

We stayed at Carols apartment for 9 nights from 25th September. Although the first couple of days where a little cloudy the sun soon shone and we had a fantastic time.
The apartment is spacious, spotless and has everything you could possibly need for a great holiday. The walk into the Marina was pleasant and we even walked back every evening to work of the great food we had eaten.
The pool area is lovely, there are plenty of communal sunbeds although Carol has some extra for her guest use should they be taken.
I would not hesitate to use this property again.

This was our first time to Portugal and we loved it, the Apartment was fantastic it has everything you need. Its spacious and comfortable. The shower with all its jets was very pleasant after a day in the hot sunshine. Very much enjoyed the balconies having early evening drink watching the sun go down. The pool area is lovely with lots of grass and flowers and plenty of sunlounger, we did not need the ones provided with the apartment. The apartment is in a great area, far enough away from the Marina and an easy 20 min walk (max). The beeches were lovely too and with the advantage of bikes we found a great beach at Praia dos Tomates, its about 25 min ride away but worth it. I would recommend this beautiful part of the world and lovely apartment to everyone. We will definatly return another year. Thanks Carol and Lynda.
