Description of the TownhouseThe Property lies within the beautifully tended gardens and walkways of the Old Village. The townhouse style property offers a ground floor, comprising entrance with W.C., living room with open fireplace and dining area. There is a separate kitchen.
The living area has television, which receives satellite TV. There is also a DVD player and CD player. The living area has double patio doors that open to a small seating area with a private plunge pool/jacuzzi. This is the only property in the Old Village with this feature and takes the space of the usual small garden. A great way to cool off day or night.
The first floor comprises three double bedrooms (all twin.) There is one en-suite bathroom and the other two rooms share a second bathroom. All the bathrooms are newly refurbished.
Taking the next flight of stairs will take you to the spacious roof terrace which has beautiful views of the ocean and Vilamoura. You will find sun beds for relaxing and table and chairs for some dining. A small BBQ is available.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region
The Algarve is well known for its golf courses and also for the many attractive fishing villages - and hence, of course, for the seafood, which is delicious. The Atlantic location means although very hot in June, July and August, the heat is not overpowering. The climate remains warm in Spring and Autumn, and over winter you get warm days, but the nights are noticably cooler.
Vilamoura / Villamoura Old Village area
You are short of nothing while holidaying in the Algarve. Beautiful beaches and golf courses on your doorstep. You have one of the largest marinas in Europe where you can indulge in any number of water sports. There is tennis and various other sports for those who can't stay still, even on holiday! One of the best Waterparks which has the largest water rollercoater in Europe is a few miles away from the Old Village.

If you did not want to hire a car on your holiday you would not miss out on anything that you would expect from a great holiday. The Old Village complex offers three beautiful swimming pools to all who stay here. (Please note that there is a small charge for the use of the pool beds.) There is also a children’s playground and beautifully tended walkways and gardens to spend some quiet time.
You will be able to stock up on almost anything you need at the Old Village’s supermarket and there are various restaurants on site whether you want a quick snack or a more fulfilling meal. There is a bar with snooker/pool just minutes from the apartment.
There are 3 pools in the Old Village which are accessed with swipe cards. You can hire pool beds for nominal sums for morning and afternoon periods. You can also lay out and sunbathe on any of the garden areas around the Old Village.
Just outside the complex and within walking distance, you will have your choice of visiting the local square where you will find more restaurants and bars and the local cinema where the latest films are shown in English. Walk a little further and you are at Europe’s largest Marina. Here you will find more nightlife with restaurants and bars and even a Casino. A visit to the Marina at night is a must where you can shop at Designer stores till late and just wander till your heart’s content all the while enjoying Europe’s finest climate.
It is at this Marina, you will be able to arrange a variety of water sports from sailing and windsurfing to paragliding. Or maybe go deep-sea fishing or dolphin spotting. You certainly won’t find yourself at a loss for things to do.
You will be set among the beautiful fairways of the Pinhal Golf Course with many other of the finest course in Europe a short distance from the Old Village.
A short car ride from the Old Village you will find the Aqua Show Water Park that is truly a fun filled day out.
There are local markets in Quarteira and beaches are all within walking distance.
You will need a car, or a taxi, to get to either The Forum Shopping Centre in Faro (near the Airport) or to Guia Shopping near Albufeira. Both are open-air centres with multi-screen cinemas and Bowling (in Guia).
Albufeira is also very close by car for some more extravagant nightlife on the main strip.
Rest assured, whatever you are looking for on your holiday, be it rest and relaxation, beach and nightlife, sports, shopping or sightseeing, you will not be disappointed. And staying at the Old Village will give you access to all this without spending your holiday in a stuffy car getting back and forth.

A 25% deposit is required upon booking with the balance becoming due 56 days before the start of holiday.
Check-in after 3.00pm and Departure at 10.00am. Changes to these times subject to other clients and approval of owner.
Upon deciding to rent this property, the owner can organise an airport transfer for your group.
You will fiind small welcome pack waiting for you upon arrival with some essentials to get you started.
There are travel cots and highchairs for guests if necessary, free of charge.

"The Town House is beautiful, it exceeded our expectations. Everything you could want was provided. Yvonne left essentials such as tea, coffee, bread, jams, milk, sugar etc in the kitchen and beers which were very well received on our arrival! The Jacuzzi was great fun we used it every day. The roof terrace was also used daily as there are sunloungers and it was very hot. The location of the propety was fantastic it is very close to the Supermarket which provides everything you may need, it is also close to the pubs and restaurants on the Village. i would highly reccomend the property and will certainly be returning. All 6 guests feel the same. The Old Village is only a 10 minutes pleasant walk to the Marina, if you didn't want to walk then there is a mini road train which comes on the hour and costs 3 Euros and you can hop on and off for the day. I would highly recommend the Town House and the Old Village to anyone wanting to visit Vilamoura, it is perfect. "

"We loved the townhouse, it was spotlessly clean and the location is beautiful - it's handy having the little supermarket a stone's throw away and although the main road can be a little noisy, it is overall such a peaceful place to be. As it was April the plunge pool was still a bit chilly but we still ventured in and had great fun. The 3 pools in the Old Village are beautifully maintained and staffed by very helpful people. Yvonne was fantastic and extremely helpful in providing a highchair and travel cot for our baby, along with leaving us the provisions mentioned in other reviews, milk, bread, tea, beer, biscuits, etc. She also arranged our airport transfers which went without a hitch. We felt so welcomed and looked after! Our best meal out was at the Princess Garden Restaurant which is literally on the same little street, 30 seconds away, the Steak on a Stone is a must! The townhouse provided every comfort we could possible have needed on holiday & we would certainly go back!"

"Property was in excellent condition and in a fantastic location. What pleased us all most were the little touches, beers in the fridge, milk tea and coffee so upon arrival we could instantly relax. In addition there were plenty of fans available for those who got too hot. The pool was looked after every day and you were spoilt for choice as to where to sunbathe either on the roof terrace, one of the main 3 pools or in the plunge pool. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to everyone and we will definitely be coming back. "

"Yvonne the owner met us on arrival and showed us arround the propperty very helpfull and plesent. She left a welcome pack (milk,water etc) for us a nice touch others will charge you for this. The house is in a great location and in very good condition nice furnishings and very clean the maid comes once a week to change the bedding and towels and gives it a tydy up.The plunge pool is a welcome addition and the only one on the complex with its own pool. The 3 pools on the site are on your doorstep and are all apealing in there own way our favourite was the one in front of the Princess Bar just a few steps from the front door.If you hire a car there is plenty of parking spaces near to the house.I really rate this as a five star rental compaired to the James Villas i have been to previousley. "
