The complex is perfect for golfers being central to Vilamoura's six main golf courses. The prestigious Vilamoura Marina is a short 5 minute drive or taxi ride (5 euros) away, where you'll find the fabulous Falesia Beach, local watersports and a host of shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife. The nearest supermarket, bar and restaurant are a 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive away.

The apartment has an integrated air conditioning/heating system. The windows are sound-proofed and double-glazed with wide sliding patio doors opening onto the 30ft balcony. The apartment is in a secured complex with a secure, intercom entry system.
The apartment receives SKY TV and there are a large selection of DVDs for your use.

There is a large sunny balcony directly overlooking the pool, garden and tennis court area. There are sun loungers for use either on the balcony or by the pool. The balcony also has a large dining table and seating for 6, for dining alfresco. There is a large swimming pool and children's pool, an outdoor wc, shower and children's play area. The complex also has an indoor swimming pool and planned health club and sauna.
A local bus service is available on the main road (3 minutes walk) which will take you into Vilamoura Marina and out to other locations around the Algarve (please check bus service/timetable).

Landscape and climate combine in the Algarve to create a region of year-round appeal. In winter, the Algarve basks in balmy sunshine. In summer it remains green and equable. Travelling around you will encounter breathtaking views: sheer cliffs at Cabo de Sao Vicente; sheltered valleys with their patchwork of orange groves; vineyards and olive trees or castle-topped peaks, with Moorish-style houses tumbling down the hillside; and brightly painted sardine boats in the harbour. The Eastern Central Algarve region runs from Albufeira in the west to Faro in the east and contains most of the Algarve's big holiday resorts - Vilamoura, Quarteira, Vale de Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Albufeira itself - tempting visitors with their white-washed villas set around manicured lawns, and miles of sandy beaches stretching to the horizon.
The Vilamoura / Millenium Golf area
Vilamoura is located in the south of Portugal in the Central Algarve region and is one of Europe's most prestigious resorts, catering for every taste. Only 20 minutes drive from Faro airport, Vilamoura is focussed around a marina, with the whole area maintained to the highest standards. The marina and surrounding area offers a wide variety of designer shops, and bars, restaurants and nightlife to suit every pocket. Most have wonderful views overlooking the luxury yachts moored there. If you like to soak up more of the culture you can visit some of the local/historical hotspots through a number of excursions available from the local tour operators based in the marina.
Vilamoura has excellent sports facilities and is renowned for it's superb golf courses. It is often more cost effective to book a golf package via the internet before you arrive. Alternatively tee times can be booked at the Club Houses of the relevant course. If golf is not for you, there are plenty of other sports facilities including tennis, shooting, horse-riding and lawn bowling. You can also spend a fun filled day at one of Vilamoura's numerous water parks. If walking is your thing you can enjoy a leisurely day out north west of Vilamoura's protected woodlands, which are great for soaking up the local wildlife. If you want to simply laze around, relax and top up your tan then try one of the two beaches in Vilamoura. Falesia Beach and Marina Beach both have fabulous golden sands, with snack bars, sun-beds and umbrellas, with a choice of watersports for those feeling a little more energetic.
For the children (or the young at heart!) Zoomarine is only 30 minutes away, where you can pre-book to swim with dolphins or just enjoy the animal shows, rides and swimming. Or try Roma Golf Park, next to the marina in Vilamoura, where you can enjoy mini golf as well as the quad biking and the exotic farm and tropical gardens.
The attractive, neighbouring resorts of Vale de Lobo and Quinta da Lago offer yet more superb golf courses, wide, golden sand beaches and a wide variety of bars and restaurants.

The nearest airport is Faro, with many airlines flying in from most UK airports. Airlines include Easyjet, BMIBaby, Monarch, Thomson and Thomas Cook with more flight companies adding Faro to their destination itinerary all the time. Vilamoura is approx 20 minutes drive, by car, from Faro airport. Car hire is available at the airport but it is usually cheaper to book on the internet before you leave. Taxi's are also readily available at the airport and cost around 25 to 30 euros one way.

Thank you for a great stay in your apartment. It was very convenient for us and our kids. They spent most of their time in the pool needless to say! Being able to see them from the ground floor varanda was an advantage when they couldn't wait for us to get to the pool.The apartment had all the essentials and was clean and practical. Hope to come back again! |

A breakage deposit of £150 per booking is payable with the balance. This will be refunded in full, after your departure and upon inspection of the apartment, when no damage/breakages are found.
