With a short drive to the town centre and marina with a host of bars and restaurants the location is ideal for both a relaxing holiday and those wanting something more lively in the evenings.

The Algarve region
The Algrave, situated in southern Portugal has a good all year round climate which makes Vilamoura the ideal place to go for both Summer and Winter breaks.
Vilamoura / Millenium Golf area
Only 100 metres from the Millenium Golf Course and in close proximity to 4 other courses this is an ideal holiday destination for golf lovers. There is a beautiful marina with a large variety of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Only 30 minutes from Zoomarina, where you can pre-book to swim with the dolphins or just enjoy the swimming, animal shows and rides. Water parks in close proximity, including Aqua Show and Slide & Splash. For those of you who enjoy crazy golf a trip to Crazy World is recommended. Crazy World also has reptile shows, rides, petting farm, swimming pools and restaurants. At the end of the road is a bus stop that will take you to Vilamoura town centre and marina, or to Albufeira. Alternatively the short taxi ride to the marina will cost you only 5 euros.
If you wish to pre-book golf tee times we recommend info@linksgolfportugal.com and golfteetimes@mail.telepac.pt. The apartment is situated in close proximity to the Milenium, Victoria and the Laguna. Tee times can be booked at the Club House for these courses.
How to get there
Many main UK airports fly to Faro, with more flight companies adding Faro to their destination intinery all the time. Short journey time from airport, approx 30 minutes. From the airport take the only exit to the roundabout. Take the Faro exit, you are now on the A22. Take the right hand lane, signposted Lisboa, Porta Mao and Loule. Follow the road round under the A22 filtering onto the N125 (A22). Pass the sign for Loule, go over the island, then turn left at the traffic lights signposted Vilamoura. Carry straight on then at the 3rd Roundabout, (having passed a large concrete sign for Vilamoura/Algarve) turn right, signposted Terraces de Pinhal and Colinas de Golfe. Turn right at the next roundabout, signposted Terraccos do Pinhal. Follow the road to the end and you will see the Residence Golf Club on the left hand side.
Taxis from the airport are approximately 25 euros. If you would prefer to hire a car for your stay we can recommend Auto Prudente, www.auto-prudente.com. This company will allow you to pick up/drop off at Faro airport, rates available on request.
