This fabulous two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was fully refurbished in 2010. The apartment offers spacious modern facilities and is perfect for families and golfers alike. The pool area and garden, which can be viewed from the apartment, boast a large main pool with a safe separate childrens pool, both of which were refurbished in January 2012.

The block also benefits from a reception (Open Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:00hrs summer months) and a great value snack bar facility by the pool usually open all day and into the evening during the summer months. (Opening dates for 2015 yet to be confirmed)

The apartment is located just 5 minutes walk from Pinhal Golf course and the Vilamoura Hilton Hotel, 15 minutes walk from the fabulous Marina with its bustling shops and Restaraunts, and 20 minutes walk to the beautiful unspoilt beaches. The apartment offers an excellent base whether you are planning a relaxing holiday by the pool and on the beach, playing golf at the numerous local world class courses, or exploring the wider Algarve region.

The property has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The main bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobes and patio doors leading to a private balcony. Bedroom two has twin beds and a built in wardrobe. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning. The main bathroom has bath with shower over and glazed screen, wash hand basin, wc, bidet and heated towel rail. The second bathroom has a glazed shower cubicle with shower, wash hand basin, wc, and heated towel rail. The modern kitchen includes oven, hob, and extractor over. There is a large fridge/freezer and a washing machine as well as microwave, toaster, and kettle.

The spacious air-conditioned lounge/diner has an oak dining table with 6 chairs, a 2 seater leather sofa, and a 3 seater leather sofa bed which can be utilised for additional occupancy subject to prior agreement. The lounge opens, via patio double doors, onto a spacious balcony with 2 tables and 4 chairs. The balconies sunny raised aspect enjoys excellent views of the pool and garden area below. The patio doors to the bedroom and lounge balconies, and all the windows on the property, have electrically operated security shutters. We recommend these are closed whenever the apartment is unoccupied.

The apartment is accessed at ground floor level to the front elevation but enjoys 1st floor views over the pool and garden to the rear. The pool area and garden have seating and sunbeds for residents use, and the snack bar offers light refreshments and snacks by day, and great value meals in the evening at a fraction of Marina restaurant prices. (Opening dates for the bar in 2015 are to be confirmed but expected to be May to end of September)

The friendly receptionists, Fatima and Sandra, are always happy to help with local information, or to assist with taxis or any other queries you may have during your stay.

There is a supermarket 200 yards from the apartment and a number of small bars and restaraunts locally as an alternative to the Marina. The "Old Village" development is also just a short 10 minute walk and this area offers a number of bars and restaraunts too.

Vilamoura is just 20 minutes drive from Faro airport in the central Algarve. The area is popular with families who come for the fabulous beaches and family friendly facilities, golfers who come for the unrivalled and numerous golf courses , and general holiday makers who enjoy the 5 star resort facilities. All of course come for the Algarve sunshine!

The Algarve region

The Central Algarve area of Portugal is famous for its excellent climate and friendly people. Whilst the area has become famous for its magnificent golf courses, the region also offers a great contrast between the golden sandy beaches and stunning rural countryside. It boasts many historic attractions in its towns and villages and a dazzling array of flora and fauna, making a perfect holiday destination for all whether its fun in the sun with the family, a golf break with friends or walking/cycling in the surrounding countryside the Algarve has it all.

Vilamoura

Marbel Sol is situated on Rua da Alemanha in central Vilamoura adjacent to Pinhal Golf course. The Marina (15 minutes) and beaches (20 minutes) are just a short walk, or why not take the tourist train which passes by the front of the complex and is a great way to see around the resort and get your bearings, especially for those without a car.

You can hop on and off the train all day for around 3 Euros. Vilamoura itself offers a wide variety of sport and entertainment in addition to the famous golf courses which are a must for any keen golfer. Close to the complex is a tennis school and around the Marina numerous offerings of boat trips for fishing, dolphin watching or just cruising. There are also Jetski's for hire. Back to the golf there is a crazy golf course which is great for the kids and has a Roman theme which befits its location adjacent to the Roman ruins and Museum. Slightly further afield, and very popular for those on a family break, are the excellent Go Karting track in nearby Almancil, and the Zoomarine water park in Guia which is just 10km from neighbouring Albufeira on the EN125 motorway. For those who enjoy shopping try the "Algarve shopping" centre, also on the EN125 in Guia, where designer shops and boutiques tempt the traveller into parting with their Euro's for that holiday treat! In the evening Vilamoura's bars and restaruants provide food and entertainment to cater for all tastes and budgets. For those feeling lucky there is Vilamoura's Casino, or take a stroll around the Marina and sample the atmosphere of this delightful resort.
