Vilamoura has one of europes largest and most exciting marinas which is surrounded by superb shops,affordable restaurants,banks,supermarkets,bars,a casino and tourist office.the beautiful falesia beach has a blue flag. vilamoura is home to a number of fantastic golf courses & is a well known world class golf destination. in 2005 the world golf championships was hosted in the new arnold palmer designed victoria course.there are also many more top courses nearby to suit any standard of golfer,from the novice to the professional.
How to get there
Fly to faro.vilamoura is a 30 minute journey from the airport. cheap flights are available from all major budget airlines and all over the uk and ireland. car hire is very easy to arrange from all different providers. local taxis are available for transfer from airport.fare around 30-40 euros depending on time of year. transfers can be arranged.
