About the home

This is a luxurious five bedroom villa, with three en-suite bedrooms upstairs, one en-suite bedroom on ground floor and one very large en-suite bedroom on lower ground floor. home with south-facing swimming pool, electric shutters on all windows and are beautifully finished.

What is best about 2012 is that the houses have just been completed and this year's rentals will be the first, so everything is brand spanking new.

Our photos could be better, we're working on them! When we put all the little accessories into the house and we've a nice sunny day, we'll try to do the home justice.

Quinta do Alto is adjacent to the Hilton Hotel Development, Pinhal Golf Course, The Old Course in Vilamoura and Willie's Restaurant (Michelin Star).

Also within a few minutes drive are Vila Sol Golf Course, 5 Star Vila Sol Hotel and Spa, Vilamoura Marina, Millennium Golf Course, Victoria Golf Course, and Laguna Golf Course.
Our villa is set within a beautiful private development of only 12 villas, in one of the Algarve's most up-market addresses.

We have a huge amount of equipment to make holidays for young families as comfortable as possible. When it comes to booking we'll be happy to talk to you about your requirements. Facilities

Further details indoors:
The ground floor and lower ground floor rooms are perfect for guests with mobility difficulty or for guests with young children. Wifi is provided at a number of hotspots throughout Quinta Do Alto and is available free of charge. We have a full time manager based in Quinta Do Alto who will be happy to help you in any way he can. The kitchen and living area are very generous sizes and lead to the pool area.

Further details outdoors:
The villa is private and gated with secure parking and a secure perimeter for younger travellers. Outside we have dining facilities for 10 adults and a barbeque and patio set. Sun loungers and pool towels are provided. Several of the bedrooms have terraces and the pool is south facing. there's a two car garage and plenty of space outdoors for parking. We are very close to amenities such as the Hilton Hotel and Seven Spa, Browns of Vilamoura gym and leisure centre and the beaches are minutes away. Quinta do Alto is located in a lovely neighbourhood and there are plenty of nice walks on the doorstep.

Changeover days are flexible are as changeover times where possible.

We're happy to allow stays of shorter than a week. However because we incorporate the cleaning charge into our weekly rate, a charge of 25euro per day applies for each day less than a week that you stay with us.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

Vilamoura is situated on the central Algarve coastline and is only a 20 minute drive from Faro Airport. The Famous Marina has 1,000 berths and has many top class restaurants and bars and designer boutiques. The Marina offers all sorts of activities from Shark Fishing and Dolphin Watching to Leisurely Cruises to view the wonderful coastline or take to the dinghies to navigate the historic caves and grottoes. Quarteira the next resort to Vilamoura has a fun gypsy market every Wednesday and some lovely beach bars. Loule' has a bustling Saturday market - well worth a visit! Vilamoura has a choice of local supermarkets with a good range of products - but the Algarve shopping centre in Guia is a must for serious shoppers! Vilamoura has 2 fantastic beaches - the marina beach and Falesia - both very safe and very flat, ideal for families and both have restaurant + toilet facilities. Golf can be arranged at many outlets locally for all of the five local championship courses at special rate

The Vilamoura area

The Algarve has developed as a tourist haven grown from its magnificent beaches and climate. It has everything you would expect from a tourist destination, developing in particular as a centre of excellence for Golf. We could list all the amenities, but it has pretty much everything you can think of for a warm destination.

The Algarve has more sunshine hours than California apparently and it's not just a summer destination. While the weather is less predictable in the winter months, with 300 days of sunshine per year, you would be unlucky not to have great weather for at least part of your stay, regardless of the time you visit.

Faro Airport is only 20 minutes away and is served by many airlines. For the holiday season there are several flights per day from the larger European airports, and several per week from smaller European airports. Faro airport is compact and very well designed and is an easy airport to navigate.
Alternatively we can be reached from Lisbon, which is a 2.5 hour motorway drive away. If you've a choice, Faro is our strong recommendation.
There is no shortage of car hire companies in Faro with all the big names represented. Any of the online car hire agencies, such as cartrawler will give a wide choice of rentals.
