The Algarve has a lot of unspoilt villages that are worth visiting during your stay. There is a lot of history and a lot of heart behind this region. During the high season, the temperatures flow around the high thirties celcius. During the Autumn and Winter, there is the occasional rain with temperatures between the 12 and 20 degrees celcius.
Vilamoura / Vila Sol area
There are a lot of reataurants and shops in the local fishermen's village of Quarteira, at only 2 minutes drive away. The Aquashow waterpark, is only a 2 minutes drive away and a fun day for the whole family.
