About the home

The villa features a fully fenced swimming pool, and a lovely outside living area complete with BBQ, and a lovely large well maintained and secluded garden. It is just a few minutes walk away from the famous Pinhal course of Vilamoura. For the non golfers, only a 10 minute stroll away are all the amenities and life at the marina including the casino, restaurants, bars, and shops.

The other popular Vilamoura golf courses are right on your doorstep Pinhal, Old Course, Laguna, Millennium and the WGC host Victoria GC. The Central Algarve location also means all the other fantastic courses are easily accessible.

This is not only an ideal location for golf enthusiasts, but also for families with young children, or couples who can enjoy the tranquil settings of the villa whilst also experiencing the enchanting atmosphere of the marina and the local market town of Loule.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve is known for its many attractive fishing villages - and hence, of course, for the seafood, which is delicious as well as its golf courses. The Atlantic location means although very hot in June, July and August, the heat is not overpowering. The climate remains warm in Spring and Autumn, and over winter you get warm days, but the nights are noticeably cooler.

The Vilamoura / Pinhal Golf Course area

The resort of Vilamoura boasts 5 golf courses and is perfectly located only minutes drive away from Vilamoura marina and beaches. A golf academy with driving range, various restaurants and shops and a couple of water parks nearby. With the beaches, restaurants and over 15 golf courses located within a 10 minute drive away it is the perfect location for both family holidays and golf breaks.

“Fantastic, spacious property perfectly placed for young families” Villa Barrocas is a super house in a wonderful location, just far enough out from the Marina (20min walk with young children) to be peaceful, private and undisturbed, but close enough to walk to all the amenities you might need and the nightlife. The property is hugely spacious and set in a fantastic plot with ample garden and well-sized pool which is completely fenced off. Nearby there's a coffee shop (great coffee, toasted sarnies and fresh pastel de natas!) and mini-mart with most things you'll need for any small family but the supermarkets are only a 5-10minute taxi. A great little road-train regularly goes from the nearby Hilton Hotel down to the beach and the marina which all the children absolutely loved riding on. If you're after a family holiday with a bit of peace and quiet thrown in (!) then I would thoroughly recommend. The booking service was seamless and we had guidance throughout which was reassuring.

“Wonderful” Very easy to book. Villa was amazing, great for young children with the safety gates on stairs and guard around the pool. Nice big and airy. Had everything we needed at the villa. Supermarket just around the corner, approx 15mins walk to the Marina. Great for relaxing around the pool in the evening with the outside lighting.
