Vilamoura Marina (5 min drive) makes a beautiful evening out for a meal with its excellent choice of international restaurants for everyone to enjoy, most notably its fantastic fish & shellfish restaurants, Why not have a drink or go shopping in the boutiques, or take a walk along the Marina to view some of the fabulous boats and yachts moored there. If it is nightlife you are looking for then we are only a 15 min drive from the Old Town of Albufeira & “The Strip” area of Praia D’Oura. Utility Room: washing machine, ironing board and iron, clothes horse.
Living Rooms: Classically elegant furniture is used in the living/dining room with a beautiful large cream sofa (sofa bed) TV, free-view, DVD player, dining table and 6 chairs. Patio doors lead onto the terrace which has outdoor furniture.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
A Cleaning service is provided for bookings of 9-14 day stay with towels and linen changed also. We ask for Guest to please bring their own towels for pool and beach use. Extra maid service can be provided at a cost - please request when booking.
Notes on accommodation
The apartment has electric shutters on all windows and doors, and mosquito nets on patio doors. Each room has it's own air-conditioning unit allowing guests to control the temperature in the different rooms within the apartment. The apartment also has an intercom system complete with CCTV viewed from the apartments telephone. There is lift access from the garage.

The apartment is fully accessible from all entrances, a lift is provided from the garage to our apartment, ramps enable access from the ground floor street level. There are no stairs in the apartment making it ideal for families with young children.

Beautiful semi tropical professional landscaped gardens. Large terrace with table and 4 chairs. Smaller terrace off the master bedroom. 2 communal pools, one of which has a swim up bar. 1 kiddies pool. 1 children's play area with swings and slides.

The property is maintained by a property manager who will meet with you and ensures all your needs are catered for.
Welcome packs can also be provided upon request.
Car hire and Airports Transfers can be arranged.
Cot (€10 per week) and highchair (€15 per week) can be arranged
Conditions
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the reservation, with the balance paid 6 weeks before your date of arrival.
A refundable damage deposit of 200 Euros or £150 required with the final balance. This will be returned to you within 7 days from the end of your holiday.
Bed linen and towels are provided on arrival for the relevant occupants. A mid stay cleaning service is provided for stays over 9 -14 days with both towels & linen changed.
Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels please. Extra Cleaning can be provided at a cost – Please request at booking stage.
Guests are kindly requested not to smoke inside the property but to use the outside areas.
Sorry no pets are allowed.
There is flexibility for change over day and we will always try and accommodate your individual needs. Check in time is usually 3pm and check out time is 11am, but depending on other bookings we are flexible on this also.
The Algarve / Central Algarve region
Portugal’s southernmost region known as the Algarve has established itself as a firm favourite holiday destination for people from all over Europe as well as the rest of the world. This is due mainly to its almost tropical climate boasting over 3000 hours of annual sunshine. With its stunning long sandy beaches, majestic cliff facings, secret coves and caves contrasting with the inland of mountains, almond blossom covered hills and quaint hidden towns the Algarve has something to offer for everyone.
There are many major attractions for all the family to enjoy including Zoo Marine (where you can swim with the dolphins), horse riding on the beach and some brilliant fun filled water parks all within a half hour drive of the house - Aqualand and Slide & Splash being the most popular. The parks all provide buses that will transfer you to and from the Parks.
Locally there is golfing, tennis, horse riding and a sports facility. If you want to get away from the coast for the day then a drive to Monchique and Foia (the highest point of the Algarve) is highly recommended. On the way you could visit the castle in Silves and stop for lunch of chicken Piri-Piri in the small mountain town of Monchique. It will take you less than an hour to get there.
Two large shopping centres are 'Algarve Shopping' in Guia and 'The Forum' in Faro just 20-30 minutes by car. The Algarve Shopping is a large mall which is approx. 15 minutes drive away. Here you will find a variety of shops, a big supermarket, a bowling alley, a multi-screen cinema (most films are in English with Portuguese sub titles) and a food hall.
Alternative ways of exploring the Algarve are by joining one of the many jeeps that head out each day (high season) to explore the unspoilt Algarve. This is a great day out for the family and will pick up and drop off in the area.
Both Vilamoura and Albufeira offer plenty of great boat trips leaving from both Albufeira and Vilamoura marinas every day. You can choose from a full or a half day and this can often include a trip into the caves and grottoes of the beautiful Algarvian coast line. If you fancy a drive into Spain then the border is only a 50 minute drive and Seville approx two hours depending on traffic.
As the Algarve spans a large area with wonderful sights and attractions, car hire is highly recommended to explore. Taxis are reasonably priced. Local Transfers as well as airport transfers can be arranged.
The Vilamoura / Victoria Boulevard area
Vilamoura is 2.5 miles from the apartment and the nearest supermarket and restaurant is 1 mile away.
Vilamoura has 6 championship golf courses on it's doorstep. The apartment is within easy walking distance of Millennium, Laguna and of course the Victoria golf course, home of the Portuguese Masters! A very short drive will take you to The Old Course, Pinhal and Vila Sol.
There are many activities to enjoy in the Vilamoura area ranging from tennis, horse riding, water sports, including jet skiing, paragliding, snorkeling, water skiing, wind surfing, shark and marlin fishing. Carting, casino, 3 aqua parks. Quarteira (5 min drive) has plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and a market on a Wednesday morning. Vilamoura marina (5 min drive) makes a beautiful evening out for a meal, drink or shopping in the boutiques. Also at the marina you can organise a variety of excursions and activities.
Almancil (10 min drive) has an entertainments centre with go-carting, rodeo, bungee trampolining and much more for children and adults. The market in Almancil is on the 1st and 4th Sunday of each month. Albufeira (20 min drive) - big shopping centre, bars, Locally there is golfing, tennis, horse riding and a sports facility.
