The Algarve region

Vilamoura is the name given to an area rather than an actual town. It is outstanding in that it is one of the largest single tourist complexes in Europe. Due to its size it offers the visitor nearly every form of sport and entertainment, and its southern border is lined by long sandy beaches and the Atlantic coast.
Within the centre of Vilamoura there is a preserved Roman Site and Museum of Cerro de Vila, providing an interesting glimpse into the past.
The location of my property is near to the Old Village, a beautiful development of ancient architecture providing within the development a small local shop, some tasteful bars and restaurants and apartments, and close by the Pinhal Golf Course for easy access to golfers.

Vilamoura / Villamoura Old Village area

Local Beaches - Our Townhouse is close to the Marina in Vilamoura and there are many beaches accessible from this spot. To the West of the Marina is Falesia Beach extending for several miles , this can be accessed by car within 5 minutes. To the East side of the Marina the Quarteria beaches can be reached also within 5 minutes.
Vilamoura holiday activities include of course golf. There are many top class golf courses in the area. From our Townhouse, the Pinhal Golf Course is within 300m, the Old Course 1Km, Laguna and Millennium 2Km, Vila Sol 2Km and the latest Arnold Palmer designed course, The Victoria Course, 2Km. Golf club hire is available at all courses and there is a magnificent 'Butch Harmon' coaching facility close by to assist with your enjoyment. Along the whole coast of the Algarve magnificent golf course have been built and are in use throughout the year. The Algarve is a very popular and famous golfing location.
There are Festivals held in Loulé and Quarteria in February.


How to get there

Our property is 20Km from Faro airport. Cheap flights are available to Faro airport with Easyjet, Flybe, Thomson, Globspan and Airtours. A Taxi from Faro to our property will cost 25-30 Euro's.
There are many car hire companies based at Faro airport, our recomendation is ZitAuto who are very cost effective and provide and return the vehicle at the airport.

All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and airconditioning. A safe is also provided in one bedroom.
The bathroom has been tastefully tilled and fitted with bath, shower, wc and bidet..
There is a large lounge and dining area with fully furnished kitchen and access to patio. The patio has been tastefully furnished with sun loungers and brolly.

The exterior of the property is walled off with access through a locked gate. There is a shared private garden and large pool with shower and separate changing/shower room.
The top level of the property has a large roof terrace equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs and BBQ. The terrace provides sun all day and has views to Vilamoura and the coast.


Further details

Maid service which includes towels and bed sheets is provided twice a week. Additional linen/towels can be provided at cost. The changeover date is flexiable and depends on availability.
