Detached villa in it's own fully enclosed private grounds set in a peaceful, rural location. Situated just in front of La Rodanna Natural Park and surrounded by beautiful countryside making it ideal for walking and cycling. Gates at the front of the house lead you up the driveway to the property which is very spacious outside with ample parking. The villa has a newly constructed Roman style filtered swimming pool with balustrades, making it especially safe for children! There are orange groves in the garden and a Barbecue area on the terrace with plenty of room to sit back and relax. The patio is nice and shaded whereas the pool and sunbathing area gets the sun all day! There are several local golf courses nearby and the town is only 5 minutes away.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region

Valencia is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city on the Mediterranean coast. It is Spain's 3rd largest city, surrounded by orange orchards and sandy beaches. The city enjoys year round sunshine and boasts a great nightlife together with amazing places to eat. It is full of history with many churches, galleries and museums to visit including The City of Arts & Science Museum together with L'Oceanografic, Europe's biggest aquarium. The recently transformed port and marina area of the city will be hosting the European Grand Prix from the end of Augus 2008.

Vilamarxant area

Villamarxant is a real Spanish town with a few bars and restaurants. On Sundays you will find the locals out cooking large paellas in the street. Lliria is the next nearest town only 15 minutes away with lots of bars and restaurants. There are several local golf courses nearby including El Bosque and the world-renowned El Saler. Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo - the race circuit in Cheste is only a 10 minute drive away and hosts various motor sports, including a round of the Moto GP and Formula One testing. Approximately 35 minutes to the blue flag beaches of Costa del Azahar. You can reaach Valencia City in 30 minutes by nearby metro from Chiva or Lliria if you prefer to leave the car at the station!!

Local fiestas include Las Fallas - this is a week long unique and crazy festival held each year in March. The main focus is the creation and destruction of Ninots - huge statues that are placed at over 350 points in the city and in each surrounding town, including Lliria. The ninots remain in place until midnight on the 19th, when La Crema takes place. At the stroke of midnight the ninots are set on fire to the chants of the crowds and a spectacular firework display begins. Tomatina (tomato fight) festival is held in the nearby town of Bunol which takes place towards the end of August. Thousands of participants come from all over the world to fight in a battle where more than 100 tonnes of tomatoes are thrown in the streets. The week long festival features music, parades, fireworks and dancing.

How to get there

The villa is only 20 minutes from Valencia Airport. Head towards Riba Roja then take the CV37 signposted Villamarxante. Cheap flights available with Easyjet from Gatwick, Stanstead & Bristol. Ryanair also fly to Valencia from Stanstead, East Midlands, Liverpool and Dublin. British Airways will be flying from Gatwick to Valencia from 26/10/08. Our English speaking representative will meet and greet you with the keys. You have to pay a £200 refundable damage deposit on arrival which will be returned on leaving (subject to satisfactory inspection). A welcome pack is available at an extra charge upon request.

Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of rental fee to be paid to secure booking. Full payment to be made four weeks before departure.
