Vierville sur mer at Omaha Beach is located between beautiful old Bayeux (20 km away) and the fishing village of Grandcamp Maisy only (12 km away).

It is within walking distance of the beach and boat launch, some restaurants, shop, a bar, a grocery store, the post office, a church, D-Day- museum, several bunkers and a gas station. Within a 5 minute drive (or long walk) you can also visit St. Laurent, which has additional restaurants (4 more - 2 on the beach and one near beach and one near highway) and information booth.

Also only 1/2 hour away from great large shopping areas in the cities of Caen or Carentan.

LIVING ROOM: The salon is a very large room, with a 10 foot cove ceiling and fabulous views of the sea from the very large bay window. You will be able to see the sea from 90 degrees to the north, east and west. Two very comfortable chairs are strategically placed at the window for the best views in the house, and a lovely place for an afternoon tea and a cozy read or a glass of wine at sunset.The room is very bright and sunny.

It has a working marble fireplace, built in bookcases with many of books to read and shelving, large doors with access to the main foyer. It also has French doors accessing the kitchen.

There is plenty of comfortable seating so you can enjoy your family or company and enjoy the views or the fire.

KITCHEN: An extremely large kitchen with 13 foot ceilings. Fabulous views of the sea through 12 foot windows and French doors. Also fabulous views from the sink and washing area along with views from the breakfast nook. At the back of the kitchen is patio doors and a window cross through to the outdoor BBQ and fireplace and the patio furniture. A beautiful view of the hilly countryside. The kitchen has a staircase to access the basement level and a staircase to assess the second floor, French doors to the dining room.

The eat in kitchen seats 8 at a large table and has an additional comfy breakfast nook for 4 along with 3 island seats. It comes with a full stainless steel fridge and freezer, a stainless steel dishwasher, stainless steel wine fridge, wine rack, lazy susan and plenty of storage, including a pantry. Butcher block countertops, slate tiles for island and backsplash.

A very large island with eating area, a desk area in breakfast nook. Also a large stainless steel gas stove and oven, stainless steel microwave, coffee machine and recycling area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with every needed appliance, from food processor, blender, to fondue set along with cookware and dishes for full gourmet cooking.

T.V.ROOM: The television room is located on the main floor. It comes with a sectional sofa that can be pulled out to a double bed.

There is a 50" wide screen television along with United Kingdom satellite television. There is a full surround sound system in this room making it a perfect theatre room.

It comes also with a DVD and Blue Ray player, movies for viewing and also a stereo system with available music.

WASHING: Washing machine and dryer. There are also indoor and outdoor clothes lines if you don't wish to use the dryer.

LIBRARY: Located on the second floor directly on top of the salon is a large library or office.

A desk located in the large bay window affords lovely 90 degree views of the Normandy sea a D-Day beaches.

Working has never been made so easy.

MAIN BATH: In the second floor is a large full bathroom with a large soaker tub, a separate shower, a sink and toilet.

Beautifully renovated and decorated in glass and marble tiles. A spa like bathroom with a wonderful view of the countryside from the window.|

BATHS: There is also a seperate shower room, with toilet and sink. A seperate tub room, with sink. Two other two pieces toilet rooms with toilet and sink.

BEDROOMS: There are 3 double bedrooms, the Master bedroom with a King size bed and large balcony facing the sea. The second Master Bedroom with a Queen bed and another bedroom with a queen bed includes a balcony facing the hills.

There are three separate childrens rooms with two single beds in each room.

This bathroom can be locked off and become a part of the main Master Bedroom Suite.

Large yard and secluded back patio. There is a Chacoal BBQ and table and chairs along with two loungers. There is also a full living room set out side with sofa and chairs for plenty of out door rest.

Nearby monument located on the beach, in the background is the Casino restaurant and bar. Also located on the beach is a number of restaurants, creperies of frite shops, along with a few bars and a souvenir store.

In the town of Vierville sur mer, is a small grocery store, church, post office, public transportation, a gas station and garage. A museum and a recycling centre.

American Cemetery this is only 5 km away. Less than a 5 minute drive.
