This well appointed self-catering apartment is situated in the 4th district just a 5 minute tram ride away from the heart of Vienna from the KarlsKirche, Opera , St Stephan Cathedral and all sites are within easy reach the tram stop just being a few minutes’ walk away. The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor (lift) in quiet location giving onto inner courtyard and consists of 1spacious bedroom with a double bed with an extra single bed and sleeps 3, living and dining area with a table seating 4 and a couch with side table and flat screen cable TV. There is a separate kitchen with cooker, oven, fridge/freezer and complete units, a small table and washing machine the attractive new bathroom has a corner shower, bidet and sink in attractive design with separate WC.

The Lower Austria/Vienna region
Vienna is a city of all seasons with its wonderful spring festivals music and culture is everywhere. Whilst the winter months also offer a wonderful atmosphere with the Christmas markets and decorations in the centre with huts selling mulled wine along the main pedestrian street and various stalls with decorations and gifts. The New Year with the New Years concert which is transmitted live on outdoor screens in front of the Rathaus so one can really be part of the Viennese atmosphere.
Vienna City area
Local attractions are numerous and all within easy reach by tram, bus or metro: The Opera House, St Stephan’s Cathedral, the Graben and Kartnerstrasse pedestrian shopping area with numerous cafes and terraces. The Belvedere and Schonbrun Palace with its imposing gardens host also summer concerts and winter markets. You can also take a trip down the Danube with various excursions to Melk, Durrenstein and other villages along the river. Vienna is ideally positioned also as a starting point to other nearby trips such as Budapest (3hours train) or Prague (3hrs) or Salzburg and the Lake region of Austria the mountains and spa resorts.

It is a short 5 minute tram journey trams 62 and 65 run every 2 minutes into the centre The bus stop 13a for the Mariahilfer shopping street is also just along the street One can walk into the centre approx 15 minutes Vienna is an ideal location with all year events historical musical cultural and a wealth of museums Kunsthistorisches and Naturhistorisches museum, Belvedere, schonbrunn all within easy access public transport. The badnerbahn also stops along the street if you wish to take a trip to the attractive spa town outside of Vienna in the foothills of the Vienna woods.
