Description: The area of Neubau is home to the city's silk factories and with its wonderful selection of shops and bars, it is currently one of Vienna's most important shopping districts.
Visitors can also see the Westlicht Photography Gallery and the famous Museumsquartier (MQ); an impressive structure that is the eighth largest cultural centre in the world. The building combines a mixture of the baroque with more modern architecture and art galleries such as the Leopold Museum and the Museum of Modern Art Ludwig Foundation Vienna (MUMOK). Every summer it hosts a number of festivals such as the Wiener Festwochen - wonderful for lovers of contemporary theatre, and the ImPulsTanz Vienna International Dance Festival.
