The BnB also has a small guest kitchen with hotplates, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee and tea maker, toaster, sufficient cook and dinner ware. The Vienna Region

Vienna is the capital of small but beautiful Austria. It has great historic buildings dating from the middle ages to the Imperial time lasting till the beginning of the 20th century. Not only does it offer numerous palaces, museums and other sites to visit, it is also a very livable city. We have one of the world's best public transport systems (easy to use, cheap, safe, clean, efficient and fast), tab water that is better than most bottled mineral water, a lively cultural scene, a great recreational areas, and excellent food and restaurant scene. Its location at the heart of Europe makes it an easy travel destination, Prague is just 4hours by train, Venice an overnight journey, Budapest about 3hours train travel and Bratislava (the capital of Slovakia) can be reached in 60min. Outside Vienna, you find beautiful areas such as famous Wachau valley (a cultural heritage site and famous apricot and wine growing area), which makes a great day trip. You can even go to the eastward mountains of the Alps in a day trip.

Stadtnest is located in a typical Viennese neighborhood, just 5min walking distance from Vienna's biggest shopping street, the Mariahilfer Strasse. There you will find great shops, restaurants, banks, supermarkets and of course the access to Vienna's (almost) perfect public transport system. It is only 2 stops by U3 subway to the Ring Street with its famous Imperial buildings, 3 stops to the Imperial Palace Hofburg, four stops to the St Stephan's cathedral (it will take you about 10min to get there by U3). Also, Vienna's famous open air market Naschmarkt is in about 15min walking distance. By tram 58 you can get from Westbahnhof (8min walking from Stadtnest) to Schoenbrunn Palace in about 15min.

Everything is close by and easy to reach.
