The apartment has a calm, harmonious atmosphere, like the area of its namesake, Apt. Plan de Vic. The apartment has a capacity for 7 guests and has two double rooms and one triple room, a spacious kitchen, a dining room and a living room with fireplace, central heating, and four fully-fitted bathrooms, a washing machine, clothes dryer, dishwasher, fridge, TV. A cradle is also available.
The house dates back to 1752 and has newly been fully restored.

The house itself is located in the town of Perafita, the heart of the Lluçanès region. Apt. Plan de Vic, with accommodation for 7 guests in an excellent location. The history of the house goes back to the 18th century when the house was known as a traditional cloth manufacturing centre. The word “Estamener” comes from “estam” or combed wool.The excellent location of the house meant that it became the head offices of Perafita's own public transport company which ran services from Prats de Lluçanès to St. Quirze de Besora and Vic, for more than 50 years

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
The house en typical Catalan limestone style, modernised with respect for the original style, is situated in the Vic-region. Vic is the capitol of the region, situated in the middle of the “plana de Vic”, which is a platau of perhaps 30-40 km2 surrounded by all sides of the mountains. The house provides a perfect base for relaxation. Read a book, enjoy the hot summer nights in the private court yard or one one of the near by Cafés with a glass of the local cava or red wine from the Catalan Penedes district.
The landscape is the greenest area in Catalonia and hence, the region has traditionally been dominated by agriculture. Now, it is more mixed, also because Vic is one of the university cities of Catalonia. Increasingly, people from Barcelona as well choose to live in Vic area, as the region is only 40 minutes away from Barcelona. Vic is one of Catalonia’s most lovely historic old towns. Do not miss the market Tuesdays and Saturdays, the Cathedral and the Episcopal and Leatherworks Museums, one of the most important in the world. Or simply enjoy the historical centre city with cafés and restaurants on every small square. The Vic region is known to have a lot of fine restaurants, many of them even with one or two Michelin stars.
Around Vic, you can enjoy excursions to Montseny Natural Park or the Guilleries, get to know the Romanic Art of the region or practice sports such as golf, cycling or horse riding. The central location in Catalonia makes for instance, the historical city Girona, Costa Brava, The Dalí Museum (Museo Teatro Dalí) or the Penedés wine region accessible in one-day excursions.
In the winter, the ski-resorts in Andorra and the Pyrenees is only a 45 minutes drive away. In the summer you can enjoy the tracks of the Pyrenees or for the adventurous, paragliding or climbing. The spring (March-May) in Catalonia is sunny, green and comfortable warm. The daily temperature reaches 16-22 degrees.
The autumn (Sep.-Nov) is very warm in the beginning (Sep.) with a daily average temp. reaching 27 degrees. October and November has an average temp. starting at 22 in October ending with 17 in November
Vic area
Casa Estamener is located in the very centre of the town of Perafita, in the heart of the Lluçanès region, in the western part of Osona, between El Moianès and El Prepirineu.
Located in the middle of the Plana de Vic, Estamaner is near all interesting sites in Osona.
Vic, 15 minutes away, offers a lot of touristic choices:
A beautiful maintained historical town., also mentioned as the most Catalan town in Catalonia. Traditional Market on the Main Square: every Tuesday and Saturday in the morning (10-14) (See photo J) The town has plenty of discothèques and bars that the young ones can attend
-The cathedral, with a romanic cript and belltower, neoclassic façade, gothic clauster, and the painitings of Josep M. Sert -The Roman temple -The wall of Pere III -The Museu Episcopal, with a great collection of romanic and gothic art -The Museu de l'Art de la Pell -And: the Mercat del Ram; Mercat de la Música Viva (september); Mercat de Sant Nicolau (december) and Festa Major (july 5th)

HOW TO GET THERE: From Barcelona, take the C-17 motorway (Barcelona-Puigcerdà) to the Eix Transversal C-25 exit 179 to the BV-4601 road to Sant Bartomeu de Grau - Perafita. From Girona, take the Eix Transversal C-25 and leave at exit 180 Gurb - Sant Bartomeu del Grau – to arrive at Perafita on the BV-4601 road. From Lleida, take the Eix Transversal C-25 leaving at exit 179 carretera on the BV-4601 road. From Berga, take the C-16 Eix Transversal, take the C-25 at exit 179 and then the BV-4601

40% deposit paid in advance within 8 days after reservation. By cancellation more than 1 1/2 month before 50% of the deposit will be refunded. By cancellation less than 1 1/2 month before, the deposit will not be refunded. The price includes: electricity, heating, linen, towels and the final cleaning be departure.
