An apartment in this cosy village is the perfect base for enjoying the Catalan country side, trips to Barcelona 75 km. away or just to the beatiful regional capitol Vic 10 km. away.

Having let out two excellent, modern equipped country houses for some years, the family decided to restore the nearby building into four more rustic apartments of high quality. Furthermore, the ground floor was turned into a big café with more room for guests in their popular bakery/café. Here you can eat your breakfast or a quick lunch if you prefer, or just go down to buy fresh bread and croissants for your breakfast in the apartment.

Outside, for the benefit of the guests in the apartments, a garden with swimming pool is being constructed to be ready for the summer 2009.

The building contains four apartments of different sizes. All of them have a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a sitting room with sofa and TV/DVD. Additionally, the building has WiFi internet connection. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and all of the apartments have a modern bathroom. All the apartments have access to the garden with swimmingpool downstairs.

There are two apartments with two double rooms and hence room for four persons. The price is 130 Euros per day and 700 Euros for a week. (minimum stay 2 days)

There are two bigger apartments, each with a private terrace facing the garden and with an excellent view to the Pyrenees. One has 2 double rooms and a triple room. The price is 185 Euros per day and 1.050 Euros for a week. (minimum stay 2 days)

The house for groups of 4 or 2 persons does not have a roof terrace, but only balcony to the street. Both houses have access to the garden with swimming pool (ready summer 2009). Additionally, the owner Elisabeth has opened four new rustic apartments nearby. Please request information.

Casas Estamener have two beautiful apartments overviewing the centre of the village. The apartment has two double rooms, one with double bed and one with two single beds. The apartment has a modern bathroom with shower and in the bedrooms the big closets provide you with plenty of space for your wardrobe.

The apartment has a big common room with sofa corner and dining table. From the common room you have direct access to the open kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with e.g. dishwasher and microwaves.

The apartment also hase.g. Air condition, WI-FI Internet connection washing machine and elevator.

When you live in one of the apartments, you have free access to the cosy garden and the new pool area, where you can enjoy the Catalan summer and the view to the Pyrenees.

The private garden and pool area was established in the Spring 2009 and has been a great success. After exploring Catalonia, you can enjoy the pool area, and in the warm Catalan evenings, it is great eat dinner and enjoy a glass of local wine or a cup of coffee.

The price includes: Taxes and VAT, electricity, heating, water, bed-linen, towels and cleaning at departure.

When booking the property, a deposit equal to 40% must be paid within 8 days to secure the booking. The remaining amount is to be paid to the property-owner whne you arrive. By cancellation more than 2 months before arrival, half of the deposit will be refunded. By cancellation less than 2 months before arrival, the deposit is not refunded.

The Catalunia region

Catalonia is a region where you have more or less everything within driving distance. Explore the city of Barcelona, ski in Andorra, enjoy beach life by the many beaches all the way from North to South in Catalonia or visit a wine producer in the famous Penedés district or in one of the many other less famous districts of very high quality.

Walk or go by bicycle in the many natural parks or visit the museums with some of the famous artists, who have been based in Catalonia, for instance Miró, Dalí and Picasso.


Vic is the capital of the region of Osona, Barcelona, is located on the banks of the Meder river, in the vicinity of the impressive Sau reservoir. It is small town (70.000 inhabitants) and is situated on the plain that carries its name. Plane del Vic.

A holiday based in Vic provides you and your family with the perfect base for a relaxing holiday, in the heart of Catalonia. You will find yourself at home among the local inhabitants and enjoy the lively local life and cuisine in this beautiful town. Among lush green hills, and authentic small town Spanish life, you are still only 75 km. distance to the big city-life of roaring Barcelona, or the majestic beauty of the highest peaks of the Pyrenees. Market in Vic

The town Vic with its charming old quarter is worth a visit. On Tuesdays and Saturdays you will find a large popular and lively market on Placa Major. Another option is to enjoy the delicious cuisine or to take a guided tour through the historical quarter. On the central square you will find many shops and café terraces. The square is always full of genuine Catalan rural atmosphere.

In Vic you can enjoy: Museu Episcopal, which displays a rich collection of Romanesque art. The Gallery Sala del Romanico has a outstanding group of alter fonts and The Gothic Gallerie Salas del Gotico`s collection of alter pieces are also impressive. All 3 galleries are given 3 stars (highly recommended) by Guide Michelin.

La Plana de Vic is all surrounded by mountains: in the north the mountains of Comarca (administrative area corresponding to the English county) of Ripollès and Comarca of Garrotxa, in the east the mountainous area of Les Guilleries, in the southeast the Massif of Montseny, in the west the mountainous areas of Moianès and Lluçanès, and it remains closed by a circle of mountainous systems that draws the heights of its outline: the mountains of Bellmunt, Collsacabra, Guilleries, Matagalls, Tagamanent, the Bertí's Crags, Collsuspina, Gurb, El Grau and Orís, and the Pyrenean spurs of Montesquiu and Besora.
