Home description
This luxurious apartment boasting a bathroom for each of its three bedrooms is more than a match for the majestic views available from each and every window. Fitted to a high standard throughout, the décor succeeds in bringing out the best of a Swiss pine chalet effect – but softened with rich, multi-coloured fabrics – and thus providing a well deserved feeling of warm, Alpine luxury. With a fully equipped modern kitchen and large open lounge area, the immediate effect is exactly as intended – home from home. Take a step outside, however, onto the terrace and you will immediately enjoy the most spectacular views imaginable – with spectacular, ample panoramas of the Swiss Alps.

The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region
Situated between the Matterhorn and the legendary Mont Blanc, Veysonnaz boasts one of the largest ski areas in Europe. This delightfully traditional and family-oriented Swiss Alpine resort is an integral part of the 4 Valleys, a huge ski area with over 100 lifts and 400 km of pistes. Summer activities are many and varied: mountain biking, fantastic guided walking tours to glaciers, exploring, paragliding, grass scooters, climbing, health treatments, wine tasting and racquet sports. Those out to hit the slopes though are unlikely to be disappointed - with 3 ski lift pass options and a new Gondola capable of transporting 2600 people per hour, the possibilities are almost limitless. Mountain restaurants abound, and you are never far away from a hot meal or cold drink. Of course Switzerland’s natural beauty is waiting to be enjoyed – but so too is the whole of Switzerland
Veysonnaz area
Walking & Hiking With over 300 km of signposted pedestrian paths, Veysonnaz offers both hikers and mountain bikers alike the possibility of enjoying the most superb excursions. The jewel in the crown of this unique and natural network is undoubtedly the Bisse de Vex (little stream), which is especially popular with hill walkers of all ages. Stop for a picnic, stop for a snack – wherever you are and whatever you are doing, you surely cannot fail to be impressed by the majesty of the Swiss Alps. It is surely difficult to take issue with the good men and women of the Veysonnaz tourist board when they tell you that with Veysonnaz being at the crossroads of several valleys the mountains widen your horizons.
For Kids We all know that if the kids aren’t happy, then the holiday simply isn’t going to work. And of course the opposite is equally true. Even the most demanding youngster cannot fail to be satisfied by the wide range of activities and events to him or her. These include open-air sports activities (rollerblades, wall climbing, volleyball) for those who like to be organized (Veysonnaz’s Sun and Fun Club runs from the end of June to the end of August) – but there is also mountain biking, horse-riding and musical activities too. For those parents who conclude that their days function more effectively whilst unencumbered, Veyonnaz offers a wide variety of ‘clubs’ – functioning in winter and summer alike
Golf Information Just 13 kms away, the Golf Club de Sion offers a beautifully well-manicured 18 hole course in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The coure’s website puts it as delicately as one might expect – don your soft spikes, have a handicap of 36 or below, pay your greenfees, follow the etiquette – in which case you are welcome any time! Apart from having a first class driving range, the course also boasts the discrete restaurant Le Bistrot du Golf and a bar, ideal for relaxing on that all important 19 th hole !
Skiing Information Skiing is fun. Queuing is not. With the new Ski-Lift opened in 2006 opposite the apartment (5 metres away), you’ll be on the slopes within seconds after breakfast. Veysonnaz is an integral part of the 4 Valleys – the major skiing area which goes all the way from Veysonnaz to Verbier through to Nendaz. With more than 100 ski lifts and 400 kms of slopes between 1300 and 3300 meters (and with a ski pass valid either for the complete area or by sections and with a reduction for families of 3 or more) – Veysonnaz is a pretty unbeatable destination. Those more into ski de fond are unlikely to be disappointed, however, since there is a cross country run which enables you to enjoy a truly breath-taking view of the Valley of the Rhone and the Bernese Alps. You are able to book your ski-pass online in advance of your holiday, please contact us for the web site address.
