About the home

This charming little cottage set in a row of 200 year old listed cottages, is situated in Veryan Green, close to the famous thatched round houses, in a sheltered valley surrounded by lush trees and gardens only half a mile from the village centre. Entered through a pretty walled and gated small garden, the front door opens to a delightfully furnished, warm and cosy beamed sitting/dining room with a neat galley kitchen leading off it. A compact shower room W.C. with hand basin completes the ground floor accommodation. From the living room an open plan staircase leads to a lovely cottage style bedroom with twin beds. There are restful views over rolling pasture land from an enclosed sun trap patio garden, and there is unrestricted parking on the road outside. Veryan has a good pub offering food and a small shop/post office, Nare Head to the south is a fine place for walking with Gull Rock just offshore a notable seabird colony. The south facing beaches of Carne and Pendower are just over a mile.
