About the home

In order to take advantage of the beautiful views, the living area of the chalet is on the upstairs floor. The upstairs floor consists of an open-plan kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area which has a fire-place. There are two French windows which lead out onto a balcony, which wraps around two sides of the chalet. The balcony which catches the sun all day is a wonderful place to eat out in the summer months.

There is a bathroom and laundry room on the upper floor. Downstairs are three bedrooms, a master bedroom which has an ensuite, a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom. Two of the bedrooms have french doors leading to the outside of the chalet. The chalet is located in a lovely unspoilt village and close to skiing in the winter and numerous mountain activities in the summer. Very close to the French and Italian borders.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
The master bedroom has a king size bed and the double room has a double bed which can be separated into two twin beds. The bunk bed room has two beds and a pull out base to make a third bed.
There is also a sofa bed which is a double bed on the upstairs level. The bed can be folded away during the daytime. All beds have duvets.

The chalet is fully furnished.
The kitchen is fully equipped. Linen and towels etc are provided.
There is a separate laundry room equipped with a washing machine and a drier.

Further details outdoors:
There are steps leading up from the lockable garage to the chalet.
Views from the balcony are spectacular - a perfect place to have all your meals in the summer with views southwards to Italy and westwards to France.
There is an outdoor table and chairs.
The village of Levron has a small shop supplying basics such as bread, butter, milk cheese etc and also local Swiss wines! there are supermarkets at Sembrancher and Le Chable.
There are plenty of walks around the village and the surrounding areas.

Cleaning is included in the price of the rent.
There is a book of information on how the washing machines etc work and also information about the local area inside the chalet.

Conditions

Preferably bookings from Saturday to Saturdays but would consider other lets.
25% deposit required on booking the chalet with the balance due 30 days before the arrival date.
In the event of a cancellation and the owner is able to re-let the chalet to another renter, then the owner will refund the deposit.
In the event that the full rental has been paid and the owner is unable to re-let the chalet then the amount paid shall be forfeited.

The chalet is located in the small village of Levron, a short distance from the world famous ski resort of Verbier. You can get to the cable car at Le Chable in 15 minutes by car from the chalet. Le Chable is situated in the valley below Verbier. One of the benefits of getting onto the cable car at Le Chable is that you avoid the long queues at Verbier! Verbier is a world-class resort with something to please everyone. The town is situated on a sun drenched plateau at 1500 metres and has enviable snow and sun records. Verbier has some of the most challenging runs in Europe with the slopes of Tortin, Gentianes and Mont Fort to test the most experienced skier and boarder. For the intermediate skier there are the gentler picturesque tree lined slopes of La Tzoumaz and Nendaz. And beginners are well catered for with the convenient resort based slopes of Les Esserts, Le Bleu and Le Rouge. For the adventurous why not hire a mountain guide and the terrain available becomes limitless.

Martigny nearby is an old Roman town with good shops and an interesting museum.

The Verbier / Levron area

The chalet is situated on the outskirts of the village and faces south with spectacular views down the valley and to the mountains which border Italy. These mountains are called the St. Bernard and are famous for the dog with the same name. The chalet also has unobstructed views of the village. The only sounds you will hear will be the village church bell and in summer you will hear the cow bells!
Don't ski? Don't worry, Verbier has a lot to offer the non-skier. There are many spectacular locations that can be reached on the lift system, including restaurants. There are beautiful mountain walks and cross country skiing. At the Sports Centre there is ice-skating, squash, swimming, jacuzzi and sauna. Throughout the year there are numerous concerts and exhibitions and a regular showing of English films at the cinema. Shopping in Verbier is justifiably famous as one of the most outstanding ski areas in Europe.

Ski: Verbier is part of the skiing area in the 4 Vallees and offers over 410 km of runs for all levels and 92 ski-lift installations, which can all be used with a single ski-pass. The highest point of the area is the summit of the Mont Fort glacier, at 3,330 metres, and it offers ideal skiing conditions from the beginning to the end of the season. Snow machines complement the natural snowfall and ensure good conditions on the runs. YOU HAVE ALL THE ADVANTAGES OF SKIING ON WONDERFUL PISTES DURING THE DAY AND GOING TO SLEEP IN A VILLAGE WITH NO NOISE AT NIGHT!!
Summer activities include golf.,swimming,hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and canyoning!

From Geneva airport,follow signs to Lausanne/Montreux.
Stay on the Auto-Route (A9) all the way around Lake Geneva - with the Lake on your right hand side.
Pass Lausanne and Montreux.Follow signs to Martigny.
Get off the auto-route at Martigny.Follow signs to Grand St. Bernard Tunnel (which goes to Italy).
At the village of Sembrancher turn left to Verbier. After about 400 metres take left fork to Le Levron/Volleges /Cries.
Go through Volleges and Cries (both very small villages). Follow signs to Le Levron.
Road starts to climb up the mountain to Levron - road is very twisty - so be careful - there is very little traffic on the road up to Levron.Drive into Levron passing the “Laiterie” on your left.
You will come to a T junction and in front of you is a house with shutters. There is a sign on the wall which says “Place de la Chapelle”. Turn right.
Drive for about four hundred metres and you will see in front of you four garages with steep steps to the right of the far right garage.
