The Costa de Almeria region
This region of Spain is steeped in History mainly from the Moorish occupation, their influence is everywhere. The World Health Organisation recognise this area as being one of the healthiest places in the world to live. With its endless sunshine it has become a market garden growing all the salad vegetables.
Granada is an easy 2hr drive, the Alhambra must be visited and in the winter months it is possible to ski the Sierra Nevadas in the morning and sit on the beach in the afternoon.
Vera / Valle Del Este Golf Resort area
