About the home

The apartment is on a quiet part of the golf course with a choice of swimming pools right outside the private patio. Other golf courses locally inlcude Desert Springs and Marina Mojacar although Valle del Este should keep you more than amused. The apartment is fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Being on the ground floor means no steps to climb after a hard day on the golf course. Once there relax on the patio with a cold beer and watch the other golfers on the 13th tee.

The golf course resort itself has everything you will need to keep not only the golfers but the non golfers amused. There are swimming pools, tennis courts, shops, bars, restaurants and a spa all on site. The Valle del Este Beach Club is a short distance away on the shores of the Mediterranean and is reached by a free daily shuttle bus. Many other activities such as horse riding and diving are available locally. The course resort has its own hotel with further bars, restaurants and the spa available to non residents. The hotel and commercial centre are a 10 minute walk away on private roads.

The apartment is fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The main bedroom is a double room with king size bed and en suite bathroom, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe. The second bedroom is a twin bedded room with a chest of drawers and built in wardrobe with easy access to the main family bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. Together they provide accommodation for four.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board, oven and hob. The main accommodation has dining for 4 - 6. The living area has 2 seater and a 3 seater settee, TV and DVD player. The TV receives the main BBC and ITV channels as well as others. The patio is reached from the main living area and has a paved area with patio furniture to allow alfresco dining.

Further details outdoors:
The apartment has it's own private patio overlooking the large main swimming pool. Two further pools; one infinity pool and one suitable for children are within 30 metres and overlook the 11th green and the surrounding countryside.

Conditions

Booking will be confirmed following receipt of a £50 deposit which is returnable after your stay provided there is no damage or extraordinary cleaning requirements and the booking is not cancelled.
Full payment must be received 1 month prior to travel, last minute bookings excepted.

The Costa de Almeria region

The local climate in the Almeria region of Andalucía is ideal for playing golf and holidaying year round. Located on the edge of Europe's only desert you can expect 330 days of sunshine per year. You will be very unlucky to miss more than a day's golf in any week of the year.

Valle del Este is only 7km from the Mediterranean with its miles of unspoilt beaches and secluded sandy coves. Mojacar Playa has all the facilities you would expect of a holiday destination with 9 km of sandy beaches, bars, cafes and amusements. Next along the coast from Mojacar is the fishing port of Garrucha with its small but pristine beach and its many fish restaurants. The beach continues to the North East of Garrucha uninterrupted to Puerto Rey and Vera Playa, the site of the Valle del Este Beach Club and the Vera Aqua Park. The coast continues riviera style with many small secluded sandy coves waiting to be discovered.

To the South West lies the Tabernas Desert, 25 km north of Almeria which has for decades provided film makers with suitable locations for a range of movies set in the frontier land of the "Wild West". The Spaghetti Westerns of the late 60's were all filmed here, the three film sets in the area; although still working sets are all open as tourist attractions.

The Vera / Valle Del Este Golf Resort area

The Valle del Este Golf Resort occupies a 108 hectare site near to the Mediterranean dual carriageway at Vera. Situated 70 kms north-east of the airport at Almería and 120 km south-west of the airport at Murcia it is easily reached by the budget airlines from most UK airports.

Cartagena, La Manga, Granada, Sorbas and the Tabernas Desert are all close by. Valle del Este is 7 kms from the beaches of Vera and Garrucha and 10 kms from Mojacar.

Most budget airlines fly to Almeria and Murcia, the main ones inlcude Avro, BMI Baby, EasyJet, Jet2, Monarch, Ryanair.

Airline departure and destination points vary, check to see if an airline flies from your chosen airport to Almeria or Murcia. Alicante and Malaga airports are a little further afield, about 2 hours, but are worth considering, it's easier driving for 2 hours on Spanish roads than it is in Britain..

Car hire companies operating at both airports include: Auto-Europe, Budget, Crown Rentacar, Europcar, Goldcar, Hertz, Avis.

“Flawless & Relaxing family holiday in friendly, private surroundings.” Great, fully equipped apartment, clearly furnished to a high standard by a private owner with several pools less than one minute walk away. Golf complex quiet and private which feels very safe and civilised but offers a range of bar/restaurants happy to cater for families as well as golfer or couples. Car is essential but worth the effort as the nearby towns are very authentic Spain and there are some great attractions such as waterworld, mini-Hollywood, outstanding beaches, cliff drives etc etc Bring a SAT NAV if you can as it removes any stress in driving and subsequently you will really get a lot from this resort and the general location. Highly recommended is this particular Tamarillas Number 56 (I think?) apartment where the owner that you deal with is honest, trustworthy, helpful, attentive while at the same time delivering a faultless apartment at the best price you will find. EXAMPLE In our second year staying in this apartment, the owner who was in England went to considerable trouble to have new reclining sun beds delivered to us to enhance our stay. This was First Class service as I can think of no one else who has that level of interest in the occasional holiday guests such as ourselves.
