The spacious luxury 3 bedroom/3 bathroom villa is located in a private, gated, residential development, on the prestigious Valle del Este Golf Complex, Vera, Near Mojacar in Almeria. The family sized accommodation of the villa is over 3 floors. On the ground floor you will find a Lounge/Dining Room, kitchen and downstairs shower room. The Lounge/Dining room contains two leather sofas, dining table and chairs, Satellite TV and music system. Patio doors lead onto a terrace overlooking the golf course. The fully fitted kitchen contains oven/hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, all pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettle, iron and ironing board. A staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor which consists of two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. Each of the bedrooms contains twinbeds and ample fitted wardrobes, overhead fans as well as airconditioning in the summer and heating for the winter (if required). Each of the bedrooms has a small balcony, one of which overlooks the golf course and the other overlooks the pool/garden area. The top floor is totally dedicated to the master suite and comprises a master bedroom with en suite bathroom and a large balcony overlooking the golf course. Again there are ample fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, lamps, fans and airconditioning/heating. The en suite bathroom comprises a bath with shower over, toilet, bidet sink/vanity unit. A hairdryer is also supplied. This accommodation is suitable for family use or alternatively would be suitable for 6 golfers or 3 couples. The semi-detached villa has its own well stocked garden to the front, rear and side of the property for private sunbathing and barbeques. The garden gate leads to the pretty communal gardens and swimming pools. A cot and high chair are available upon request.
All bathroom towels are provided but guests will need to bring their own beach towels.
The Golf Resort consists of an 18 hole challenging golf course, 4 star hotel with gym and health spa, golf school and driving range. There is also a commercial area containing bars, shops and restaurants. There are many nature trails around the resort and padel tennis is available for a small hire fee. Valle del Este has its own Beach Club on nearby Vera Playa (10 minutes drive) where you will find two restaurants, one of which is a pizzeria and the other A la Carte. The bar area leads onto terraces set in a large garden which leads directly onto Vera Playa. There is also a swimming pool, outside bar and sunbed area.

The Costa de Almeria region
Almeria has been blessed by nature with no less than 175 kilometres of shoreline. Not every foot of the shoreline is beaches and coves of fine sand; sometimes the sea smashes straight into the cliffs. However most coastal villages can boast their own beaches of fine sand. Even in the most developed areas building and services never encroach upon the areas set aside for bathing. The beaches are still predominantly enjoyed by local Spanish families, rather than being packed out with tourists.
Almeria is Spain's best kept secret and its golf courses are green oases in this unique and beautiful region of Spain. Almeria enjoys its own special micro-climate and is the warmest, driest area in the whole of Europe, with an average of only 16 days of rain per annum.
Golf
Golf in Almeria is in its infancy, but vast sums of money have been invested into developing the golfing industry in this truly unspoilt corner of Andalucia. The largest two new golfing complexes are the very prestigious Desert Springs (Europe's first desert course) and the fantastic Valle del Este, another desert course with truly stunning backdrops and mountain views, set in a valley beneath the mountains of Vera (both these courses are most spectacular). These courses, along with Marina de la Torre (overlooking the beaches of Mojacar) and the small lesser known course of Cortijo Grande (set in the mountains of Sierra Cabrera) provide the dedicated golfer with a variety of challenging courses, to be enjoyed throughout the year. These courses are all within a 15 minute drive of one another in the Mojacar/Vera vicinity.
Vera / Valle Del Este Golf Resort area
Vera is one of the oldest towns in the whole of Spain and indeed boasts the second oldest bull ring in the country, which is now no longer in use but a museum, exhibiting its glorious past. The town itself is a typical Spanish town, not touristy in any way, where you will find plenty of very cheap restaurants and tapas bars if you just want to mingle in with the locals. Vera Playa has some of the best beaches to be found in the whole of southern Spain, 9 km long and in places 200 metres deep full of fine golden sand.
Nature Vera is a privileged nature area in which various ecosystems are combined, such as its desert, the volcanic landscape and the coast. It is the starting point of a chain of nature areas, parks, and nature reserve. To the north it borders on the natural park of Sierra Maria – “Los Velez”. To the west it borders on the nature reserve of “Karst” in “Yesos de Sorbas” which offers unique cavity and subterranean galleries and in the south it borders on the mountains of the Sierra Cabrera mountain range, the nature park reserve (in the sea and on land) “Cabo de Gata”, Nijar and the desert of Cabernas, which lies at the foot of Sierra Nevada. This forms a complex and diverse environment.
Vera lies on the Mediterranean coast, in the middle of a plain, which is surrounded by mountains but at the same time also forms a connection with Tabernas in the south between the mountains of the Alhamilla coast and Cabrera, and the mountains of Filabres and Pulpi in the north between the mountains of Almagro and Almagrera. In this area can be found three rivers, Almanzora, Antas and Aguas which together with the damp ecosystem create a unique scenery.
The Beaches 9 kilometres of clean fine white sand, meticulously cared for, and crystal clear water, and in the background lie the beautiful mountains. These beaches rightly deserve the blue flag, which is a European quality distinction.
Valle Del Este: This desert golf course opened 2002 and was designed by Jose Canales. Two words spring to mind once you have played this course, Natural and Spectacular. This is a ‘MUST PLAY’ course, with its elevated tees requiring desert carries, its several lakes and waterfalls, mountain backdrops, ravines and gulleys on most holes. All these natural features are in contrast to the beautifully manicured greens, tees and fairways, making you feel as though you are in a green oasis amongst the mountains and desert region of Spain, consequently making your shot-making onto the landing areas of the fairways truly BREATHTAKING.
