This brand new apartment has been furnished to a very high standard and has luxury fitments. It has the benefit of both a front balcony overlooking the beautiful Valle del Este golf course and also a very large roof solarium of 75 sq m giving all day sunshine in both summer and winter! Sunbeds,table and chairs and a large sun brolley are provided together with a BBQ for dining in the evening whilst watching the sunset .The 360 degree views from the roof solarium are breath taking over the golf course, down to the sea and also over to the mountains which are snow capped in the winter.There is a large shared pool which is open all year plus all the facilities of the Valle del Este Hotel with excellent restaurants ideal for those who don' want to cook on holiday ! There is also a very large outdoor Hotel swimming pool with large terraces for sunbathing.The Hotel has its own health spa and gym. The golf resort also offers paddle tennis and a new small commercial centre with a few bars and cafes with beautiful views down the golf course, plus some shops and an Internet cafe.Use of the excellent beach complex at Vera Playa with its own restaurants, pool and water sports is also available.

The Costa de Almeria region

Valle del Este is situated near Vera in Costa Almeria on the south east coast of Spain and is just 35mins from Almeria airport. This area of Spain enjoys one of the best climates in Europe with over 3000 hrs of sunshine a year and winters that are almost non-existent.

When foreigners discovered this area the decision was taken not to allow the area to develop into another Benidorm or Marbella. You won't find the beach and sea hidden from view from high rise hotels or apartment blocks.This beautiful area remains what is called "The Real Spain".

The area also offers the truly beautiful Cabo de Gata National Park with its empty golden beaches and coves, and miles of nature walks along the cliff tops and valleys.You will see many wild birds, including flamingoes, along your travels and you can sample some of the best fish and traditional paella dishes in the numerous fishing villages.

Excellent and challenging golf courses, such as Valle del Este and Desert Springs, have now been developed in the area offering golfers of all abilities the chance to play their sport all year round on some of the best golf courses in Europe.

Skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains is only 35km away from Granada and just over 2hrs drive from the apartment.This is Europe's most southerly ski venue and the site of the 1996 World Championships. It offers great skiing for all levels of skiers from beginners to advanced.

Vera / Valle Del Este Golf Resort area

Valle del Este is a stunning 18 hole golf course of 6269 yards,par 71 and was designed by the well known Jose Canales.Each hole represents a different challenge that requires thought before executing the shot.The views acroos the course are stunning and the 18th hole is a beautiful par 4 with water cascading to your left, flowing from the lake and down the waterfalls.This course is highly recommended and more details can be found at the website www.valledeleste.es
There are other good courses in the area including the famous Desert Springs course of 6750 yds,par 72 and Marina Golf,Mojacar Playa 5956 yds, par 72 and the developing Cortijo Grande course in the valley of the beautiful Sierra Cabrera mountains.
For the beach lovers there are miles and miles of sandy beaches from Villaricos,Vera Playa through Garrucha the old fishing town to Mojacar playa. The beaches are never crowded even in the peak season and there are plenty of bars and restaurants along the sea road to relax in.
A shuttle bus service runs from Valle del Este Hotel down to the beautiful linked beach complex at Vera Playa with its own large swimming pool on the beach and several bars and restaurants.

How to get there

Daily flights to Almeria ( approx 35 mins from apartment) from Gatwick ,Birmingham,Stanstead,Exeter,Manchester,Glasgow and Belfast with Airtours,Easyjet,Thompsons,Flybe,Ryanair etc.
Daily flights from Stanstead,Gatwick,Luton,Manchester,Southampton and Bournemouth to either Alicante or Murcia ( approx 1hr 45mins from apartment) via Easyjet,Monarch,Flybe,Air2000,Thompson and other airlines including BA & Iberia.
Don't forget to take out travel Insurance for medical needs and theft. An E111 form from the post office is also advisable.

The drive from all the Airports is very easy as Valle del Este is just off the main E15 motorway. This apartment is called the Jara complex and is situated at the top end of the golf course .

It gives you all day sunbathing with plenty of sunbeds available followed by evenings of fun and relaxation which you can enjoy with friends and family whilst watching the beautiful sunset over the distant mountains! A large table and 6 chairs makes it the perfect place to enjoy an evening BBQ with some splendid Spanish wine!
The outdoor pool is in view of the balcony and roof solarium so the children can swim and play safely whilst you relax.
A dedicated car parking space is provided in the shade and there are also plenty of other parking spaces available along the road near the apartment.
