The house sleeps 6 with 2 single beds in each bedroom on the first floor with shared bathroom w.c.& shower etc and a full kingsize master bedroom with en suite bathroom and w.c.and balcony on the top floor. All beds imported from UK with full posture springing-essential for a good nights sleep ,especiallyl after golfing/beach activities etc.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned which can be used for heating in winter. Mosquito screens also fitted.
Comfortable lounge/diner with TV (Sky with Skysports) Video/DVD/CD players- we have left some CDs and DVDs for your enjoyment.

The Costa de Almeria region
The area is warm and dry especially in summer. Nearby Vera is a bustling town with good shopping and has its own bullring. The saturday market is very popular. Nearby Garrucha is a delightful seaside town with some extremely good restaurants and tapas bars. Also nearby is Mojacar Playa, with its own beach and beachside restauarants and hotels. Old Mojacar village and the nearby Cabrera mountains offer beautiful views with Almeria town only 45 minutes away. Tabernas (home of the spaghetti westerns) is about the same and Granada is only 2 hours away.
Vera / Valle Del Este Golf Resort area
Full Championship 18 hole golf course with driving range/putting and teaching facilities. Other courses nearby, Desert Springs (18 holes-Europe's only desert course), Marina Del Tore in Mojacar (18 holes) and Sierra Cabrera (9 hole country course).
4 Star hotel with full facilities including health spa only 5 minutes walk away. Delightful poolside cafe.
Beach club (fresh water pool and cafe by the beach) and aqua park nearby- great for children.
How to get there
Casa Maria only 40 minutes from Almeria airport. Cheap travel from UK airports, especially Easyjet, Monarch, Air Excel from Gatwick. See also Ryanair,Bmi and BA websites - the earlier you book the cheaper it is!
Car essential -cheap and efficient car hire available with carjet.com with good choice of vehicles.

In cooler seasons, nice and cosy and we even have a log fire if its really cold.
Further details outdoors: Front patio overlooking garden with rear patio and BBQ area. Very large swimmimg pool and children's pool only seconds away and not too near so we don't get any pool noise. Washing machine/spin drier in utility area.
Full championship golfing facilities and 4 star hotel only a 5 minute walk away. Delightful pool side cafe overlooking the best aspects of the course

Swimming pool is not heated which is fine during summer months but it might be a bit chilly in winter!

No Smoking please No pets- not really suitable for cats and dogs! Children under 12 years preferred.- but only because the house is predominately made of marble- and there are some very sharp edges!
