A spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment at Al-Andalus Thalass, in an enclosed residential complex with CCTV and controlled access making it safe for young children. The apartment is fully furnished being in a great location for a comfortable relaxing family holiday. Offering breathtaking unobstructed panoramic views over the Mediterranean sea from Villaricos to Mojacar Pueblo, this is the perfect place to relax, unwind and soak up the sun. Air conditioning units are situated in the master bedroom and lounge. All windows and patio doors have flyscreens fitted.
With a master double bedroom with an en-suite bath/shower, a twin-bedded second bedroom and a sofa-bed in the lounge, we can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children.
The lounge furniture includes a 3-seater sofa and dining table with 5 chairs. For your entertainment, a satellite TV and integral DVD player are available.
The apartment also includes a family bathroom and fully fitted kitchen with the following supplementary electrical items:-

There is an allocated secure underground parking space with lift access to the apartment and although a hire car is recommended, there are airport shuttles and taxi services if required.
Al Andalus Thalassa has 2 large outdoor swimming pools with lifeguard attendance, 2 children's outdoor splash pools, floodlit tennis court, 1 paddle tennis courts, children's play areas, free WiFi in communal areas, extensive landscaped gardens with palm tree lined walkways and water features including waterfalls and fountains.
The Spa has a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, Turkish steam room, sauna, gym, foot spa and relaxation area.
Please note: Optional Services available (fees applicable) include cleaning service during your holiday and welcome packs for your arrival. Linen & towels are provided for apartment use only, clients will require beach towels. Daily/weekend rates will incur an extra €50 clean charge. Evening arrivals after 20:00 hours will incur a fee of €20.

The Costa de Almeria region
Almeria is an unspoilt area which offers a blend of golden sandy beaches, picturesque national parks, rugged mountains, typical Spanish towns and villages which are free from over-commercialism and retain their authentic charm. Here you will find culture, tradition, superb cuisine, and uncrowded beaches.
It is also well known for its Western Movie locations and parks promoting this ie Parque Oasys near Tabernas and the snow-capped Sierra Nevada towards Granada.
Continuing along the coastal road north will lead you to San Juan de los Terreros, with its chiringuitos, sandy, gradual beach and shallower waters - ideal for the young family.
10 minutes further north takes you to Aguilas with its beaches, port, bars/restaurants and typical busy town shops. There is an out of town commercial centre and a fantastic annual carnival procession through the town. Further north on the toll road you will arrive at Cartagena, a busy port city with its famous Spanish "El Corte Ingles" for all your shopping needs.
Murcia, approximately 1hr 15 minutes from the apartment is where to find Ikea, Hipercor (El Corte Ingles), Toys/Babies R Us and the new Condominia Nueva (H&M, Primark, amongst many other known shops).
The apartment is a 5 minute drive (20 mins walk) down to the nearest beach of Vera Playa which is partly naturist (although not compulsory). It extends for approx 3.5km to Garrucha Fishing Port. This attractive tiny town is especially known for its fresh fish market, the quality of its seafood restaurants and traditional tapas bars. Garrucha playa then extends 10 km to Mojacar Playa & the beaches are never crowded even in peak season.
Vera, a nearby traditional Spanish town popular with tourists and locals, has many tapas bars, coffee shops, a variety of stores and a busy Saturday morning market. Vera's interesting architecture and bull-ring is also worth a visit.
Following the coastal road north 2 minutes drive, you will arrive at the sleepy fishing village of Villaricos which again offers excellent bars, restaurants and a traditional tapas on the marina waterfront.
Mojacar Playa is a 10 minute drive south, with its numerous beach-side bars and restaurants offering a wide variety of international restaurant/bar cuisine and nightclubs. Mojacar Pueblo is a more sedate village located on the side of a hill, with whitewashed buildings, restaurants, bars and viewpoints.
All the villages tend to host weekly markets throughout the year (Vera, Garrucha, Turre, Carboneras, Aguilas, etc)
Villaricos, slightly to the north hosted the successful 2013 Dreambeach Music Festival and has an attractive marina with typical spanish bars/restaurants.

"Beautiful apartment, fab complex, totally relaxing holiday!!!!"
Never knowing quite what to expect, it was such a delight to find this apartment was everything and more. Spotless, well equipped and everything worked. Fantastic views over the complex and out to the coastline. The onsite swimming pools were clean and welcoming with the jacuzzi an extra bonus. The whole complex was very clean and with the secure underground car parking meant that the car was always nice and cool and out of the blistering heat.
The welcome guide was very informative as we were new to the area and gave us great tips of places to visit and explore. Would certainly return again and again!!!!
