The apartment has wonderful panoramic views and is set in a great location only a few minutes walk from the pool complex with its well manicured grassed surroundings making it an ideal place to chill out.

The allocated underground parking is very close to the apartment and there is a lift.

The Costa de Almeria region

Having one of the warmest and driest climates in Europe, the location is ideal to suit everybody. In addition to superb golf, this undiscovered area offers wonderful beaches and is steeped in Spanish history and culture.

The Costa Almeria is as varied as any of the Spanish Coasts. The coast is completely unspoilt. To the east of Almeria we find the rugged and desolate coast of the Cabo de Gata - Nijar natural park. The natural park is very nearby and is well worth visiting, its a protected area with high ecological value, due to its flora and fauna.

This is an arid desert landscape and the annual rainfall here is less than 200mm. It is sparsely populated, few villages and a very low population density. Visitors feel a sense of exploration here as many of the coves can only be reached on foot. This area is particularly popular with nature lovers and back-packers. The most popular coastal village is San José.

West of Almeria is the highly developed tourist resorts of Roquetas de Mar and Aguadulce. These have all the facilities of any modern resort to support the package holiday market.

At the north of the Costa de Almeria is the naturist beaches of Vera, a number of new complexes are being constructed here. A little further south is Mojacar which successfully combines the popular beach holiday with the hillside white village that tourist love to explore.

Almeria city is worth a visit with the Alcazaba castle overlooking the metropolis.

To the west we find the developing complex of Almerimar with Marinas, golf, hotels and many other facilities.

The old fishing port town of Adra lies further west. In spite of the interesting castle and assorted archeological remains, it is often missed by tourists travelling along the coastal motorway to or from the Costa Tropical.

Vera Playa / Al Andalus Thalassa area

The residential complex of Al-Andalus Thalassa is situated on the outskirts of Vera town only minutes from the coast of Vera Playa. Within this secured complex, there are two outdoor and one indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and boules area.

There is also a Spa and Fitness Centre with a gym, Turkish bath, sauna, etc. The town of Vera has a quaint structure of cobbled streets, where a market is held every Saturday morning. Here you will find locally produced fruit and vegetables, typical Spanish arts and crafts, along with a huge array of other products for sale. Vera also boasts a new medical centre and three large supermarkets, swimming pools, tennis courts and the Vera Water Park, which is located only a few minutes drive from the apartment.

There is a large supermarket a few minutes drive away, and a shopping centre with bars, restaurants, shops and banks within walking distance. Vera Playa has long stretches of sandy beaches, and a naturist bathing area. The coastal resort of Garrucha is five minutes away, with fabulous sandy beaches lapped by the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. This Spanish fishing town has good selection of shops and restaurants specializing in freshly caught seafood and a cuisine to cater for all tastes. Mojácar village is 10 minutes away, a pretty Spanish town set in the hillside, overlooking the coast and beautiful mountain ranges.

Valle D’Este, and Desert Springs golf courses are both around 10 minutes away. Almeria Airport is 45 minutes drive, while San Javier Airport at Murcia can be reached in just over an hour.
