Home description

This new penthouse apartment is located just two minutes walk from the beach in a quiet and peaceful location.

The property has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, and two bathrooms. The penthouse is tastefully furnished with high quality furniture. The lounge has a sofa bed, satellite television and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped including fridge/freezer, oven and hob, toaster, microwave and washing machine/dryer.

The penthouse also benefits from a private spacious roof terrace with views to the sea and mountains and has the luxury of its own private swimming pool, a built in BBQ and is equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs.

For those using a car there is secure parking.

There is also lift access to the apartment.

The Costa de Almeria region

With an average of 320 days of sun a year, very low rainfall and miles of beautiful unspoilt coastline, the area is a perfect destination for a holiday at any time of the year.

The area does not have the mass tourism of other Spanish costas so you can just relax on an un-overcrowded beach or if you prefer a more active holiday, the area has several golf courses. There are also opportunities to go Cycling, Jet skiing, scuba diving, fishing, boat trips, horse riding or go-karting and more.

Or you can visit the sets of your favourite Westerns at Mini-Hollywood, Almeria's famous theme park. You can watch the fantastic shows and take a walk on the wild side!


Vera Playa / El Paraiso de Playa Vera area

Vera Playa is approximately a five mile stretch of beach which is just 300 metres away from the apartment. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants, a large supermarket and an Aquapark within a short walk.

Some of the local areas of interest are:
- Mojacar playa
- Mojacar pueblo
- Garrucha
- Villaricos
- Cuevas de Almanzora
- Cabo de Gata

This list however is not exhaustive and visitors to the area will no doubt discover some delightful places themselves.

The nearest airports are Almeria and Murcia which are approximately forty minutes and one hour away respectively. Alicante airport also serves the area and is about one hour and twenty minutes away. Most of the low cost budget airlines fly to these.

There are many car hire companies within the airport arrival halls. We recommend www.carjet.co.uk to get a cheap rate. However "Car rental at Almeria/Murcia/Alicante airport" in a search engine will bring up a variety of companies offering the same thing.

We will provide comprehensive directions to the apartment from any airport or any major town or city.

For those preferring not to drive, taxi transfers to and from any airport can be arranged for you. (Payment made locally).

The apartment overlooks a communal pool and jacuzzi on a child-friendly complex with secure gardens.

There are several bars and restaurants within a short walk. A large supermarket, a bank and an aquapark are situated less than five minutes away. There are four golf courses within a short drive and the area also accommodates a variety of other sporting activities, including cycling, go-karting, horse riding and watersports.

Conditions

A 20% deposit at the time of booking is required to reserve the dates.

The balance is payable one calendar month before the commencement of the holiday.

A refundable breakages deposit of £100 is payable one calendar month before the commencement of the holiday and, subject to a satisfactory inspection, will be refunded within fourteen days from the end of the holiday.

On the day of arrival, guests may enter the property from 3pm onwards. On the day of departure guests are asked to vacate by 10am. These times are flexible depending on the arrival times of following guests.

Smoking is only permitted on the rooftop terrace

Everything was wonderful! I loved your place and Mojácar, where I spent most of the time, is truly beautiful and friendly.

This was our first trip to this area and we absolutely loved our stay. We totally totally totally LOVED the roof terrace and the pool (especially the pool).

We had a wonderful time in Vera and really loved your penthouse. It´s all really comfortable, very nice to stay in the penthouse and the cool swimming pool. We had a very nice holiday. Many thanks for all your help and attention. We really hope to be back again soon.

We had a great time and the weather was good. The apartment is really lovely, everything we needed was there and we loved the roof terrace and pool.
