The Costa de Almeria region
The Costa de Almeria area is renowned for its fantastic climate boasting over 320 sunny days a year. There are great beaches, restaurants and places of interest to visit including Mini Hollywood, the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, Alcazaba castle, Go Karting and the Parque Acuatico water park.

Garrucha
There are many seafront bars and restaurants serving locally produced goods like fish and the produce from farms in the surrounding area.The town also has a prominent night life in and around the many city streets but mostly at the towns prominade.Shopping in Garrucha is excellent with many fashionable shops and also many quaint shops providing for different interests.
Town with marina, castle and lovely squares to relax and watch the world go by.

Almeria City
The Alcazaba is a huge 10th century Moorish citadel with three walled enclosures. Considered to be one of the greatest forts in Andalusia. Provides magnificent views of the city.
The Museo De Almeria is located in a Neomudejar-style building, was built in1927. Houses a splendid collection of contemporary art, displayed in different thematic exhibits.
Sorbas
There are caves that can be explored with guided tours both for adults and children.
Cabo de Gata Natural Park
Andalusia's largest coastal nature reserve. Popular among mountain bikers, hikers, bird-watchers and water sports enthusiasts of all persuasions.
Mojacar
The old village of Mojacar can be found about 8 minutes away via a scenic drive where fantastic views over the mountains can be seen. This is a pretty little village with cobbled streets and winding paths. There are quaint shops to browse around before stopping for lunch in one of its many cafes or restaurants.
There are numerous restaurants and bars alongside the beaches.
