The Costa de Almeria region
Al Andalus Thalassa is only a kilometre from the beautiful 7km long beach in vera playa. The whole area has strict planning laws which restrict developments to 3 stories only maintaining the character of a traditional Spanish resort. Vera town is within easy driving distance and Almeria airport is 40 minutes, Murcia Airport is 1 hr 40 minutes and Alicante 2 hours meaning you can make the best of what the low cost Airlines can offer you. There is a great water park less than 2km away as well as karting, water sports and quad biking. Mini Hollywood is 1 hour away where the famous Spaghetti westerns were made.
Vera Playa / Al Andalus Thalassa area
The area has a plethora of bars and restaurants, the fishing port of Garrucha has some fantastic seafood on restaurants and there are many other options within easy reach of the complex. Mojacar Playa has lots of different styles of restaurants which will suit all tastes as well as bars and clubs.
There is a large supermarket just up the road from the complex and a fantastic sports facility that includes a driving range, tennis, pitch and putt and gym facilities. For Golf there are four golf courses within 20 minutes drive of the complex to suit all levels of player.
How to get there
The best way of getting to the property is by hiring a car from the airport and there are many many companies offering some great deals on cars much cheaper than in the UK.
Low cost flights available from Ryanair, Easyjet and Flybe into Almeria, Alicante and Murcia.
