This family owned, ground floor, pool facing, apartment is in a fully enclosed gated residential complex set in beautiful landscaped gardens & water features. Controlled access, provides a high level of security & the apartment comes with its own parking space for your sole use.
The complex is child friendly with a baby pool opposite the apartment & one of the two main pools viewable from the terrace. Tennis courts are available as well as an indoor pool and spa facilities. The veranda & private garden offer the fantastic opportunity to relax, sun bathe & dine outside.
This family friendly apartment is a superb quiet and peaceful base from which to explore the beautiful surrounding area & is easily reached from Almeria & Murcia airports.
Bars & restaurants are all close by as well as a variety of beaches, a water park, go-karting and local markets. Amongst other features, further afield is a zoo and western experience at Tabernas, as well as the beautiful Cabo de Gato nature reserve.
The apartment caters comfortably for 4 guests in bed rooms with a fold out bed in the lounge. The apartment benefits from gas and electric heaters for Winter renters and an extra large hot water tank, so you can have a decent shower or bath without running out of hot water (which can be the case in many apartments on the development).
WIFI internet has been fitted into the apartment and can be made available to you for your own exclusive use. An additional charge will be made for this service.

All facilities are available to make your stay as comfortable as possible - like a home from home.
The living room has satellite TV (you will need to bring your sky viewing card with you) and a DVD player.
Books and games are also available for your use.
The main bedroom has en-suite bathroom and shower, toilet sink and bidet.
The twin bedroom is opposite the other bathroom, which again has a shower and bath, toilet and sink.
The galley style kitchen is fully equipped so that you will have no problems catering for yourselves.
Towels and sheets are all provided and should you wish for a change of sheets or towels during your stay, this can be organised.

The apartment is set in landscaped gardens and water is a feature throughout the complex with fountains, a waterfall and the pools.
There are two large main outdoor pools and 2 baby pools set within grassed areas suitable for laying out in the sun.
Paddle tennis courts are available as is a full sized tennis court. Inside the spa area there is a pool, jacuzzi, water jet circuit, Turkish bath, sauna, gym equipment and relaxation area.

The apartment is large enough to cater for up to 4 adults. The apartment has a fold down single bed (in the sitting room) which is large enough to be used by the average child under 18. As the apartment is on the ground floor and is not accessed by steps, it is suitable for wheelchair users. Feel free to discuss the appropriateness of the apartment given your specific needs.

The east coast of Almería combines wild and mountainous landscapes with kilometres of sun-bathed beaches, giving you uncountable routes for enjoying close contact with nature.
Bathed by the calm crystal-clear waters of the Spanish Mediterranean, the beaches of Vera stretch for 6 kilometres. The quality of the beaches and the excellent landscapes make this area an excellent location for those who love sea sports such as sailing, windsurfing and diving.
A reliable and good quality bus service links Al Andalus Thalassa with the local towns of Mojacar, Garrucha and Vera.
The Vera Playa / Al Andalus Thalassa area
The Al-Andalus Thalassa development is situated only minutes from the coast of Vera Playa on the outskirts of the town of Vera. The town of Vera has a quaint structure of cobbled streets, where a market is held every Saturday morning. The bullring at Vera is also of particular interest, hosting various events throughout the year.
The Al-Andalus Thalassa development is situated only minutes from the fabulous beach-side resort and old town of Mojacar.
In Mojacar every June the locals celebrate the "Moors and Christians" in a spectacular 3 Day Festival.
Enjoy a family day out at the nearby "Parque Aquatico Vera" which is within a short distance from Al-Andalus Thalassa. A local bus service also operates in the local area. The Water park is beautifully landscaped with a stunning mountain backdrop and has all facilities for a great day out.
The local Puerto Rey Sports Club (Club Deportivo) is only a couple of minutes away from Al Andalus Thalassa by car and is a fantastic public resource offerring tennis, paddle tennis, crazy golf, a golf driving range, putting green, pitch and put, beach volleyball, a gymnasium, fitness room and numerous classes.
Only 5 minutes or so drive away is the small town of Garrucha, famous for its fish, resplendent with its working harbour, restaurants, shops and beach. Another alternative place to spend your days or evenings.
A 60 minute drive to the town of Tabernas brings you to "Mini Hollywood", the longest established of three theme parks in the area. The other two, Western Leone and Texas Hollywood, are still working film locations, but Mini-Hollywood is now entirely given over to a theme-park. Numerous Spaghetti Westerns were filmed along with classics such as Lawrence of Arabia, Indian Jones, Back to the Future and Mad Max.
The theme park features staged shootouts; stockaded fort; Mexican pueblo; Indian tepees; western style saloon and a zoo.
If you feel like burning some rubber, why not hire go karts and take on your friends and family. There are two tracks and several different types of kart. One track is suitable for children and they have facilities for disabled drivers too. Good value entertaining fun.
For those who prefer mountains, the area offers many routes for walking or cycling and caves for underground exploration. The Yesos de Sorbas caves are magnificent caverns and galleries forming a unique underground complex, accessed by guided tours of various degrees of difficulty. Of great ecological and environmental value, this natural landscape is outstanding for the formations of pits and galleries that open into impressive caverns filled with stalactites and stalagmites.
Sea enthusiasts can enjoy diving in the rich sea beds of the bays around the Cabo de Gata, water skiing, windsurfing or boat trips on the Mediterranean. Of great ecological interest, the park includes some of the most beautiful coastlines of the Mediterranean, featuring cliffs and lonely bays, extensive beaches and reefs. It is the perfect place to visit unspoilt fishing villages, the salt flats with their pink flamingos, the lighthouse and the unusual beaches of Mónsul and Genoveses and San José which are the nerve centre of the park.

Ryan Air and Easy Jet are the two main carriers to either of the two local airports, Almeria or Murcia. Both airports are 1 hour away and getting from airport to apartment is very straight forward. Alicante and Grenada airports are also comfortably within reach.
Hiring a car gives you the best means of exploring this beautiful area. Solmar and Goldcar are both decent car hire firms available from the airports.
In and around the area, buses are reliable and cheap.
