This character three bedroom holiday cottage is set over three floors and offers all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay in this quaint sea side town. The cottage is presented to a high standard with comfortable furnishings throughout. There’s a lounge, separate dining room and a particularly well equipped fitted kitchen. There are two double bedrooms as well as a twin room. The cottage has a private courtyard garden (that is not overlooked) and benefits from a dedicated parking space right outside the front door.
The town centre of Ventnor is quite literally down the road, with various shops, a supermarket, chemist, post office and newsagents. The very popular beach and esplanade are also within a few minutes walk with friendly café’s and restaurants. Oxford Cottage is situated perfectly for visitors that want to relax and unwind or visit the Island attractions as many of them are within a thirty-minute drive.

The Ventnor area
Ventnor is famous for its warm microclimate. The part sand, part shingle beach is great for sunbathing and swimming. Pubs, cafes and restaurants are dotted along the seafront as is the unique Isle of Wight shaped paddling pool. The Cascade leads up to the town, which is built on a series of zigzag terraces and steeped in history. There are friendly souvenir shops as well as delicatessens and convenience stores. Enjoy some peace and quiet in the tranquil Botanic Gardens, a 22-acre sub-tropical paradise. Heading west is one of the Island's hidden gems, Steephill Cove. All around Ventnor you'll find beautiful walks with dramatic viewpoints.
